The office of Mr. Struan Stevenson, the coordinator of the Campaign for Iran Change and a former Member of the European Parliament, released a press release titled \u201cIranian arrest warrant for US President described as risible\u201d.
\n\u201cWhile President Trump is in no danger of arrest, Iran\u2019s gangster foreign minister, Javad Zarif, who almost certainly ordered the Assadi bomb plot, may find himself and other criminal leaders of the regime, indicted for acts of terrorism and crimes against humanity, particularly the horrific massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners in 1988, in one of the worst crimes against humanity of the late twentieth century. The mass execution of these political prisoners, most of whom were supporters of the main democratic opposition Mojahedin e-Khalq (PMOI-MEK) organisation, was ordered by the then Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and involved special death committees, whose active participants still hold many senior government positions to this day,\u201d the statement reads in part.<\/p>\n

IRANIAN ARREST WARRANT FOR US PRESIDENT DESCRIBED AS RISIBLE<\/strong><\/p>\n

In an angry response to news that the Iranian regime has called for the arrest of President Trump on murder and terrorism charges, Struan Stevenson, former MEP, and Coordinator of the Campaign for Iran Change (CiC), has described the move by the clerical regime as risible. Speaking from his home in Scotland, Mr. Stevenson said:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fascist dictators who rule Iran may be unaware of the famous idiom about \u201cthe pot calling the kettle black,\u201d but they make up for their ignorance with a matchless sense of humour. The Iranian regime has just issued an arrest warrant and asked for Interpol\u2019s assistance in detaining President Trump and dozens of others, who they say were involved in the drone strike at Baghdad Airport in January that killed General Qassem Soleimani. They accuse President Trump of murder and terrorism. They forget to mention that General Soleimani, as leader of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards (IRGC)<\/a> Quds Force \u2013 an extra-territorial version of the Iranian Gestapo \u2013 was\u00a0 himself an international terrorist and guilty of thousands of murders and the US drone strike rid the world of a dangerous predator.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe clerical regime also conveniently forgets to mention that a court case in Belgium is about to begin, where one of their senior diplomats from their embassy in Vienna, together with three other Iranian ex-pats, face charges of terrorism and attempted murder. Assadollah Assadi<\/a> was caught, red-handed, passing a 500gm bomb to the other intelligence agents and instructing them to detonate the device at an opposition rally in Paris, attended by over 100,000 people, in June 2018. The mullahs have spent the past two years frantically trying to repatriate Assadi by claiming diplomatic immunity. They have even threatened retaliation against the Belgian authorities, but to no avail. Assadi\u2019s trial will be a major embarrassment for the clerical regime, exposing their strategy of intimidation, violence and murder, authorized from the highest levels of government.<\/p>\n
