NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF July 14, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK \/PMOI)<\/a>\u00a0announced this afternoon, July 14, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than\u00a070,800<\/strong>\u00a0in 343 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include:17630 in Tehran, 5310 in Khuzestan, 3350 in Isfahan, 2620 in Lorestan, 2190 in Sistan and Baluchestan, 1795 in Golestan, 925 in Kerman, 580 in Qazvin, 470 in ChaharMahal and Bakhtiari. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.<\/p>\n

MEK Resistance Units install large banner of Maryam Rajavi in front of a university<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Iranian Resistance Units, a network of activists of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) across Iran, have been organizing various activities that are louder calls for regime change. The Resistance Units bravely took to graffiti in public places with the slogans: \u201cDown with the principle of the Supreme Leader\u2019s rule,\u201d \u201cDown with Khamenei, hail to Rajavi,\u201d \u201cWe can and we must free Iran,\u201d \u201cMaryam Rajavi is the hope for Iran,\u201d and \u201cFree Iran with Maryam Rajavi.\u201d
\nThe Resistance Units installed a four-meter-long banner of Maryam Rajavi in Shahin Shahr\u2019s University of Payam Nour. They also announced their support for the annual gathering of the Iranian Resistance the \u201cFree Iran Global Summit: Iran Rising Up for Freedom\u201d

On the eve of next Friday\u2019s \u201cFree Iran Global Summit\u201d, a<\/span>\u00a0b<\/span>ipartisan group of prominent<\/span>\u00a0U.S.<\/span>\u00a0figures have\u00a0<\/span>declared their\u00a0<\/span>support\u00a0<\/span>for\u00a0<\/span>the Iranian Resistance \u2013 the Mojahedin-e-Khalq (<\/span>MEK\/PMOI<\/span><\/a>) and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (<\/span>NCRI<\/span><\/a>).<\/span>\u00a0\u201c<\/span>\u00a0There is a beacon of hope in this dark landscape. The one organization that has done more than any other entity, including governments, to free Iranian citizens from tyranny and the world from fundamentalist-inspired terrorism is the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI). The\u00a0<\/span>People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/ MEK)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0announced that the Covid-19 fatalities had\u00a0<\/span>pass<\/span>ed\u00a070,300<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0This is indeed a humanitarian catastrophe and\u00a0<\/span>a\u00a0<\/span>direct result of\u00a0<\/span>Iranian\u00a0<\/span>regime\u2019s inaction and cover-up.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On the eve of the Free Iran Global Summit on Friday, July 17, some 38 of the most prominent religious leaders of Britain have supported the Iranian Resistance and the ten-point plan of the President-elect of the\u00a0National Council of the Resistance of Iran<\/a>\u00a0(NCRI),\u00a0Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, for a free and democratic future Iran. Among the forty signatories of this statement are five former or current Archbishops, including Dr. Rowan Williams, former Archbishop of Canterbury and a distinguished member of the House of Lords, John Davis, Archbishop of Wales, Dr. Barry Morgan, former Archbishop of Wales, Mark Strange, Archbishop of the Bishopric of Scotland.<\/p>\n

Mr. Struan Stevenson, the coordinator of the Campaign for Iran Change and former president of the European Parliament\u2019s Delegation for Relations with Iraq (2009-14), wrote\u00a0an article<\/a>\u00a0on the United Press International (UPI) website. In this article Mr. Stevenson described Iran 2015 nuclear deal with world powers,\u00a0<\/span>formally<\/span>\u00a0known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA<\/a>), tattered. \u201cIt will be five years this week since the Iran nuclear deal was signed in Vienna. The one-sided deal contained many clauses and annexes that related mainly to the lifting of sanctions in Iran.
