Iran Regime Executed 2 Political Prisoners, 3 More Are on Verge of Execution<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Iranian regime\u00a0<\/span>executed two Kurdish political prisoners<\/span><\/a>\u00a0on July 14 and intends to\u00a0<\/span>execute<\/span>\u00a0three young men detained during the\u00a0<\/span>nationwide Iran protests<\/span><\/a>\u00a0in November.\u00a0<\/span>On\u00a0<\/span>Wednesday,<\/span>\u00a0the mullahs\u2019 regime executed another man for simply drinking alcohol<\/span>. Despite the ongoing condemnation of its human rights violations, the regime has increased its oppressive measures. The question is why<\/span>?\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span>\u00a0hashtag<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>#<\/span>\u0627\u0639\u062f\u0627\u0645_\u0646\u06a9\u0646\u06cc\u062f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(stop execution)\u00a0<\/span>on social media has become\u00a0<\/span>top trending across the world, with people calling for the immediate release of three detained protesters.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>P<\/span>olitical prisoners Amir Hossein Moradi, 26, Saeed\u00a0<\/span>Tamjidi<\/span>, 28, and Mohammad\u00a0<\/span>Rajabi<\/span>, 26, were sentenced to death for participating<\/span>\u00a0in nationwide Iran protests in November. They were arrested,\u00a0<\/span>tortured,<\/span>\u00a0and forced\u00a0<\/span>by the regime\u00a0<\/span>to make televised confessions.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The two Kurdish political prisoners who were execute<\/span>d<\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0<\/span>Tuesday<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>were\u00a0<\/span>identified as\u00a0<\/span>Diako<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Rasoulzadeh<\/span>\u00a0and Saber Sheikh\u00a0<\/span>Abdollah<\/span>. They\u00a0<\/span>were sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court in\u00a0<\/span>Mahabad<\/span>\u00a0on the bogus charge of \u201c<\/span>Moharebeh<\/span>,<\/span>\u201d or enmity against God.\u00a0<\/span>In addition,\u00a0<\/span>Reza Askari, a retired\u00a0<\/span>employee of the\u00a0<\/span>Ministry of Defense<\/span>\u00a0has been executed<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In recent weeks the regime\u2019s Judiciary has issued lengthy prison sentences\u00a0<\/span>for supporters of the People\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and arrested several of them, along with family members of political prisoners, to put pressure on\u00a0<\/span>political prisoners to denounce the Resistance movement.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The regime is aware of possible\u00a0<\/span>international pressure\u00a0<\/span>over\u00a0<\/span>its ongoing human rights violations.\u00a0<\/span>The m<\/span>ullahs are also aware that\u00a0<\/span>further\u00a0<\/span>political and even non-political executions could\u00a0<\/span>trigger new rounds of protest or ultimately an uprising. But this regime has no other choice. Like all other dictators in their last days,\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>mullahs\u2019 regime finds no solution but increasing oppression.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Iranian regime is riddled with cris<\/span>e<\/span>s. The Iranian people\u2019s uprisings in November 2019, and January 2020, along with their boycott of the regime\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>sham Parliamentary elections in February showed the regime that its conflict with the Iranian people has reached an irreversible point. The ongoing protests\u00a0<\/span>by\u00a0<\/span>people of\u00a0<\/span>all walks of life in Iran\u00a0<\/span>show<\/span>\u00a0that<\/span>\u00a0although the regime was temporarily able to\u00a0<\/span>suppress\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>uprisings, the Iranian society is restive.\u00a0<\/span>The Iranian regime\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>40 years of\u00a0<\/span>incessant\u00a0<\/span>oppression, wasting national\u00a0<\/span>wealth on terrorism<\/span>, its warmongering policies and institutionalized corruption has brought nothing for the Iranian people but misery,\u00a0<\/span>poverty<\/span>\u00a0and desperation. Now the regime\u2019s mismanagement of this COVID-19 crisis, which according to the\u00a0<\/span>MEK<\/span><\/a>\u00a0has so far claimed\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>lives of\u00a0<\/span>over 71,000<\/span><\/a>\u00a0people across Iran, has\u00a0<\/span>furthermore<\/span>\u00a0put pressure on\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>people. In other words, the regime<\/span>\u2019s corrupt<\/span>\u00a0rule has turned the Iranian society into a powder keg, ready to explode.\u00a0<\/span>The growing international isolation of this regime\u00a0<\/span>due<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>its terrorism, and<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0elimination of its terror mastermind,\u00a0<\/span>Qassem<\/span>\u00a0Soleimani,\u00a0<\/span>have also weakened the religious fascism.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now as the\u00a0<\/span>National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0wrote in its recent statement<\/span>: \u201c<\/span>The crisis-ridden clerical regime, fearing a popular uprising, is desperately trying to prevent the eruption of another uprising by creating an atmosphere of terror, through executing and issuing long-term sentences.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, as\u00a0<\/span>NCRI<\/span><\/a>\u00a0President-elect Mrs.\u00a0<\/span>Maryam\u00a0<\/span>Rajavi<\/span><\/a>\u00a0has said<\/span>, t<\/span>he United Nations Security Council, the UN Secretary-General, the High Commissioner on Human Rights, and the UN Human Rights Council, as well as other relevant bodies\u00a0<\/span>should\u00a0<\/span>take effective action against the religious fascism ruling in Iran for continuing torture, execut<\/span>ions<\/span>, and arbitrary arrests.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I especially urge the dispatch of an international delegation to #Iran<\/a> to visit the Central Prison of Urmia and investigate the case of the two Kurdish political prisoners who were executed today, after 7 years of imprisonment, and in front of the families of the regime\u2019s agents.<\/p>\n
