The number of victims in Tehran is 18,200, Mazandaran 3,220, Gilan 3,320, East Azerbaijan 2,135, Golestan 1,885, Bushehr 775, and Central Province 770.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesman for the regime&#8217;s Health Ministry said Today&#8217;s state-controlled statistics for the death toll in the past 24 hours is 209, and the number of patients at the &#8220;Intensive Care Units&#8221; is 3,556, the highest since the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak. She told IRNA, Today, that the provinces of East Azerbaijan, Ilam, Bushehr, Khorasan Razavi, Khuzestan, Zanjan, Golestan, Mazandaran, Kerman, and Fars are red.<\/p>\n<p>While Rouhani said yesterday that 25 million people have been infected so far and that 30 to 35 million people are at risk of contracting the virus, Mostafa Ghanei, head of the scientific committee of the NCCT, said: &#8220;There is a herd immunity hypothesis all over the world, but this has no efficiency, because the people of a community cannot be left alone to be infected. This method cannot be a strategy&#8230; In the past two weeks, the number of young and ill people has increased more than before, which has raised concerns.&#8221; Meanwhile, Babak Eshrati, vice president of Iran&#8217;s University of Medical Sciences, told Mehr news agency, Today, &#8220;Our goal in the field of health is to buy time to find a treatment and solution. The hospitalized wards have not yet been emptied from coronavirus patients.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In North Khorasan Province, the acting president of the Medical Sciences University was quoted by Mehr news agency yesterday as saying, &#8220;Some those infected with the virus die as soon as they reach the emergency. On average, three to six people have lost their lives daily.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In Khorasan Razavi Province, the deputy governor and the special governor of Torbat Heydarieh told IRNA on July 19, &#8220;Yesterday, July 18, hospitalizations for COVID18 patients broke the record of hospitals in this region.
