Iranian Regime Agent Expelled From Albania<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Albanian government has expelled another Iranian regime o<\/span>perative for spying on the Iranian opposition People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)<\/a> and trying to penetrate <\/span>the <\/span>MEK\u2019s complex, Ashraf 3.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In This regard, Albania\u2019s Top Channel TV network on Wednesday reported: \u201c<\/span>Another Iranian individual has been designated by Albanian authorities as persona non grata<\/span> for his actions against the Iranian opposition <\/span>MEK<\/span><\/a> in Albania, and signs indicate he will be expelled from Albania in the coming hours<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Albanian Interior Minister <\/span>Sand\u00ebr<\/span> Lleshaj<\/span> with Decision Number 172<\/span> ordered <\/span>Danial <\/span>Kasrai<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s<\/span> departure.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This person, identified as Danial <\/span>Kasrai<\/span>, holds Italian citizenship. He is suspected o<\/span>f<\/span> espionage <\/span>and having connections with the regime\u2019s Ministry of Intelligence and Security<\/span> (MOIS)<\/span>. Several Albanian anti-terrorism <\/span>agencies, in separate reports, classified <\/span>Kasrai<\/span> as <\/span>a dangerous figure who violates public security<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kasrai<\/span> on several occasion showed up near Ashraf attempting to collect information about the <\/span>MEK<\/a> and its members.<\/span> On November 19, 2019,<\/span> t<\/span>he National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>) <\/span>Committee on Security and<\/span> Counterterrorism<\/span> had<\/span> exposed<\/span> Kasrai<\/span>.<\/span> According to the NCRI\u2019s Committee on Security and Counterterrorism<\/span>,<\/span> this MOIS agent has attempted on several occasions to recruit <\/span>former or current members of the MEK. He had identified himself <\/span>as <\/span>a journalist with<\/span> a<\/span> 7,000-euro<\/span> salary, and whenever needed, by showing a forged ID card, presented himself as Albania\u2019s secret police.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Iranian regime has increased its terrorist activities <\/span>inside Albania since the relocation of the MEK members from Iraq to Albania. In January 2020, <\/span>the <\/span>Albanian government expelled two of the regime\u2019s so-called \u201cdiplomats<\/span>.<\/span>\u201d<\/span> Previously in December <\/span>2018<\/span>, <\/span>the <\/span>Albanian government expelled <\/span>Gholamhossein <\/span>Mohammadnia<\/span>, <\/span>the regime\u2019s Ambassador<\/span>,<\/span> and <\/span>Mostafa <\/span>Roudaki<\/span>, the <\/span>MOIS station chief in Albania.\u00a0<\/span> M<\/span>ohammadnia<\/span> was the MOIS representative in the delegation headed by the regime\u2019s Foreign Minister <\/span>Javad<\/span> Zarif during the nuclear talks that led to the Iran nuclear deal<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, in a statement on <\/span>June 2019<\/span>, the<\/span> NCRI<\/a> wrote: \u201c<\/span>Following the expulsion of Gholamhossein <\/span>Mohammadnia<\/span>, clerical ambassador to Albania and Mostafa <\/span>Roudaki<\/span>, head of the intelligence station in December 2018, the clerical regime is attempting to send its spies and terrorists to Albania to inflict a blow to the PMOI<\/a> under the business and journalistic covers.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a press conference on October 23, 2019, Albania\u2019s Police Chief announced the uncovering of a terrorist ring connected to the Iranian regime in that country.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On <\/span>Monday, July 20, 2020, on the third day of the Free Iran Global Summit, <\/span>the <\/span>speakers<\/span> urged the EU countries to shut down the Iranian regime\u2019s embassies and <\/span>expel the MOIS agents from their soil.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In her speech at this conference, <\/span>Iranian opposition President-elect<\/span> Maryam <\/span>Rajavi<\/span><\/a>, while referring to the regime\u2019s <\/span>450 cases of terrorist operations abroad<\/span> and a <\/span>rise<\/span> in these activities since 2003<\/span>,<\/span> said: \u201c<\/span>The clerical regime is a threat to the vital interests of the Iranian people and of people throughout the world. While carrying out suppression, <\/span>executions<\/span> and massacres inside Iran, and exporting terrorism and warmongering in the Middle East, the regime is also pursuing a nuclear weapon. She added: Terrorism is the essence and fundamental nature of this regime and it is inseparable from <\/span>it. \u2026 If someday, the regime abandons the export of fundamentalism and terrorism abroad and limit itself within Iran\u2019s boundaries, it will implode and disintegrate.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ambassador Robert Joseph, former U.S. Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International <\/span>Security<\/span>,<\/span> in<\/span> this regard said: <\/span>\u201cToday\u2019s event is a call to action. If we want to stop terrorist acts, the mullahs must know there are real consequences. This is the fundamental principle of deterrence. We need to see and treat the regime for what it is.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Struan Stevenson, former MEP and President of the European Parliament\u2019s Delegation for Relations with Iraq<\/span>,<\/span> also said: <\/span>\u201cAll regime leaders must be held to account and indicted for acts of terror in international tribunals. All embassies of the mullahs must be closed as factories of terrorism.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>recent <\/span>arrest of the regime\u2019s agent in Albania and previous terrorist attempts by the religious fascism ruling Iran <\/span>increases the necessity of <\/span>the closure of the regime\u2019s embassies and representative offices, closing down the companies and cultural, educational and religious centers tied to the regime, and expelling the regime\u2019s agents and operatives who function under the cover of commercial, cultural, or religious activities, or <\/span>who <\/span>pretend to be journalists or opponents, refugees, or<\/span> ordinary<\/span> citizens.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
