Terrorism<\/a> abroad and domestic violence have\u00a0<\/span>been\u00a0<\/span>the Iranian regime\u2019s pillars of existence since its foundation.\u00a0<\/span>The m<\/span>ullahs\u2019 regime started human rights violations and export of terrorism from<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0early days of<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0revolution<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>it\u00a0<\/span>has never stopped them ever since.\u00a0<\/span>Iran is the record holder of execution per capita in the world.\u00a0<\/span>The regime\u2019s recent crackdown on peaceful protesters in November 2019<\/a> and killing at least 1500<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>of them,\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>recent execution of Mostafa Salehi<\/a>, who was arrested during the 201<\/span>8 nationwide Iran protests, and the\u00a0<\/span>1988\u00a0<\/span><\/a>massacre of Iranian political prisoners are<\/span>\u00a0part of the regime\u2019s record of human rights violations.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The regime\u2019s ongoing support\u00a0<\/span>for\u00a0<\/span>terrorist groups, racing to obtain a nuclear bo<\/span>mb,\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>its\u00a0<\/span>incessant development of ballistic missile<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and other malign activities in the region and\u00a0<\/span>around the globe by misusing the Iranian people\u2019s national wealth<\/span>, ha<\/span>ve<\/span>\u00a0turned Iran into the\u00a0<\/span>world’s<\/span>\u00a0number one state<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>sponsor of terrorism.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On the other hand, the Iranian people and their organized resistance movement, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/a> and People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)<\/a><\/span>, have defied the regime\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>inhumane policies. The Iranian people\u2019s uprisings, the Resistance<\/span>\u2019s vital role in exposing the regime\u2019s nuclear activities<\/a> which alarmed the international community in\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>early 2000s<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0prove that\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>people of Iran do not want this regime and\u00a0<\/span>are willing to overthrow it at any cost.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n To further prevent the Iranian regime\u2019s terrorism abroad and its domestic<\/span>\u00a0human rights abuses, the international community must stand with\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>Iranian people and their organized resistance movement. The Iranian regime\u2019s threat to world peace and security and the solution, which is\u00a0<\/span>recognizing the Iranian people\u2019s right to resistance and overthrow of the mullahs\u2019 regime, w<\/span>ere\u00a0<\/span>highlighted by distinguished political dignitaries from\u00a0<\/span>different countries and political tendencies who attend<\/span>ed<\/span>\u00a0the NCRI\u2019s \u201cFree Iran Global Summit\u201d<\/a><\/span>\u00a0on July 17, 2020.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0This event was held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic<\/span>\u00a0and was able to connect over 30,000 locations in more than 100 countries to Ashraf 3, the MEK camp in Albania<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n One of the panelists of this conference was\u00a0<\/span>Prof<\/span>.
