The People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI \/ MEK)<\/a>\u00a0announced this afternoon, Aug 19, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 91,200<\/strong> in 394 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include: 6536 in Khorasan Razavi, 6259 in Khuzestan, 4333 in Mazandaran, 3996 in Isfahan, 3831 in Gilan, 3762 in Lorestan, 2926 in Sistan and Baluchistan, 2695 in Alborz, 2653 in East Azerbaijan, 2645 in Golestan, 2573 in Fars, 2339 in Hamedan, 2185 in Kermanshah, 1824 in Kurdestan, 1199 in Hormozgan. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.<\/p>\n

10 years ago Khamenei said that the court was a sham and its verdict would be rejected<\/h3>\n

On Tuesday, August 18, a UN-backed court at the Hague announced its verdict in the case of the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri. The former Lebanese prime minister was killed in a terrorist attack in Lebanon in February 2005. In addition to Hariri, 21 people lost their lives and dozens more were injured.
\nConcerning the court ruling, Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the\u00a0National Council of Resistance of Iran<\/a>, said:
\n\u201cDespite all the limitations and sabotage, the court\u2019s ruling left no doubt that this great crime was committed by the Hezbollah, which is part of the Iran regime\u2019s Revolutionary Guard Corps. (IRGC<\/a>).<\/p>\n

107th woman hanged in the Central Prison of Mashhad, NE Iran<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The clerical regime\u2019s Judiciary hanged another woman early this morning, Tuesday, August 18, 2020, in the Central Prison of Mashhad, known as Vakilabad Prison. This is the 107th<\/sup>\u00a0woman hanged since Hassan Rouhani, the mullahs\u2019 president, took office in Iran.<\/p>\n

The 107th<\/sup>\u00a0woman hanged in Vakilabad Prison at dawn on Tuesday had been on the death row for 11 years. She was executed along with three men. Their executions have not yet been announced by the state media at the time of publishing this news. The woman has not been identified by name.<\/p>\n

Despite all the threats and hollow promises of the regime agents and affiliates to end the strike, the workers maintained their unity and insisted that they would continue to strike until their demands were met.<\/p>\n
