The People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI \/ MEK)<\/a>\u00a0announced this afternoon, Aug 25, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 94,400<\/strong> in 403 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include: 23025 in Tehran, 6701 in Khorasan Razavi, 6364 in Khuzestan, 4528 in Mazandaran, 3992 in Lorestan, 2971 in Sistan and Baluchistan, 2738 in Alborz, 2648 in Fars, 2620 in West Azerbaijan, 2267 in Kermanshah, 1507 in Kerman, 1264 in Hormozgan, 1179 in Yazd, 1117 in Ardabil, 899 in Zanjan. 794 in Gazvin, 632 in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.<\/p>\n

MEK Resistance Units install posters of PMOI MEK founders<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The internal network of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK), known as the Resistance Units, organized various anti-regime activities on August 22, 2020 across the country. These activities called for an end to the theocratic regime ruling Iran. The Resistance Units\u2019 daily activities echo Iranian people\u2019s yearning for freedom, democracy and people\u2019s sovereignty.
