Those who under the mask of \u201cfamilies\u201d shed crocodile tears for PMOI members, are demanding the bereaved wife and orphaned children of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/MostafaSalehi?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#MostafaSalehi<\/a> to pay for the execution of their husband and father.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Maryam Rajavi (@Maryam_Rajavi) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Maryam_Rajavi\/status\/1299024644419313668?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 27, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Iranian regime\u2019s criminal Judiciary retaliated against the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/belgian-lawmakers-condemn-iran-regimes-execution-of-mostafa-salehi-its-ongoing-human-rights-violations\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">universal condemnation<\/a> of the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/ncri-statements\/iran-regime-hangs-protester-mostafa-salehi-to-terrorize-the-public-thwart-uprisings\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">execution of Mostafa Salehi<\/a> and protests by Iranians in different countries by ordering Salehi\u2019s wife to pay 425 million tomans as blood money. If that sum is not paid, the house and all properties of his bereaved wife and two orphaned children will be confiscated.<\/p>\n<p>As such, even after the execution,<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/uk-lawmakers-condemn-iran-regimes-execution-of-detained-protester-mostafa-salehi\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> this savage and ruthless Judiciary<\/a>, unlike any other part of the world and any other system of law, orders added punishment for the victim who is no longer alive under the pretext of blood money for its punished or wounded agents during the December 2017-January 2018 uprising. The inhuman verdict delivered to Salehi\u2019s wife states that failure to pay this sum will result in the seizure of the house, garden, and properties of Salehi.<\/p>\n<p>Salehi, 33, was a construction worker and also ferried passengers to support himself and his family. His children, Nazanin and Amir Hossein are four and six years old, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Salehi was executed on the charge of killing a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/ncri-statements\/irgc-s-38-year-record-war-crackdown-exporting-terrorism-fundamentalist-and-advancing-the-nuclear-weapons-drive\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Revolutionary Guard<\/a> officer in Kahrizsang in Najafabad (Isfahan Province) during the December 2017-January 2018 <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/iran-protests-2019-update\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">uprising<\/a>. He spent eight months in solitary confinement in the Intelligence Ministry\u2019s prison in Dowlat-Abad and another five months in solitary confinement in Isfahan\u2019s Dastgerd Prison. He was handcuffed chained on his legs and confined to his solitary cell without a mattress and a blanket. He had no visitation rights for 14 months and was given only a small piece of bread while in solitary.<\/p>\n<p>The torturers and interrogators broke his limbs and teeth under torture. They severely damaged his neck and spine to force him into cooperating with the Intelligence Minister and submit to a forced television confession. But he did not surrender to these pressures. Finally, Khamenei and his murderous <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/publications\/special-reports\/iran-who-is-ebrahim-raisi\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Judiciary Chief, Ibrahim Raisi,<\/a> ordered him hanged on August 5, 2020, after two-and-a-half years of heroic resistance on his part.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stats.sender.net\/forms\/dGYVLa\/view\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Weekly-Signe-up-logo\" class=\"size-full wp-image-219239 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Weekly-Signe-up-logo.png\" alt=\"Weekly-Signe-up-logo\" width=\"319\" height=\"106\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/maryam-rajavi\/14237-maryam-rajavi\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of the N<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/our-resistance\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ational Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), said in this regard<\/a>: The mullahs\u2019 Judiciary abhorrent verdict against the wife and children of Mostafa Salehi demonstrates that the brutality and inhumanity of the ruling mullahs know no bounds.
