In recent days, there have been dozens of protests in Iran<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As protests increase and spread across Iran, state-run media are refle<\/span>ct<\/span>ing the regime\u2019s utter fear of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>a\u00a0<\/span>possible new series of\u00a0<\/span>major Iran protests<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

News from Iran obtained by the\u00a0<\/span>People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0indicate that despite the coronavirus outbreak and the regime\u2019s use of this crisis to prevent people from\u00a0rising<\/span>\u00a0up<\/span>, there have<\/span>\u00a0been<\/span>\u00a0dozens of\u00a0<\/span>protests across<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0country<\/span><\/a>. These ongoing protests\u00a0<\/span>have caused the state-run media to express their concern over a looming uprising.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday,\u00a0<\/span>villagers of\u00a0<\/span>Abolfaz<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Kianshahr<\/span><\/a>\u00a0village in southwest Iran protested and clashed with the regime\u2019s agent<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0who had come to demolish their homes. The security forces used pellet guns\u00a0<\/span>and fired tear gas to continue with their criminal plan of confiscating people\u2019s lands and houses.\u00a0<\/span>The regime\u2019s so-called Bonyad\u00a0<\/span>Mostazafan<\/span>, or\u00a0<\/span>F<\/span>oundation of\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>A<\/span>based<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is behind this attack and tries to confiscate people\u2019s lands.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard,\u00a0<\/span>Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/span><\/a>, the President-elect of\u00a0<\/span>the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/span>,<\/span><\/a>\u00a0while strongly condemning the criminal attack by the regime\u2019s repressive forces on poor villagers<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>underscored that the villagers had committed no offense other than defending their lives and homes against the mullahs and their so-called Foundation of the Abased.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
