In his message to mark the anniversary of the founding of the Revolutionary Guards, he said: &#8220;Iranian Revolutionary Guards \u2026 with the support and cooperation of Islamic Resistance in Syria and Iraq have set themselves as \u2018the security shield\u2019 of the Iranian people and the whole Islamic Ummah (nation). Bagheri stressed: \u201cThe Revolutionary Guards&#8230;with Khamenei\u2019s guidance\u201d has boasted &#8220;the deterrence power&#8221; and &#8220;the defense power&#8221; of the clerical regime to the world beyond \u201cIran\u2019s geography\u201d. He added: As Khomeini said, &#8220;If the IRGC did not exist, the country would not have existed\u201d (State-run media April 23, 2017). By \u201cthe country\u201d, Khomeini and Khamenei mean the religious fascism ruling Iran. Khamenei had said earlier if we did not stop the enemy in Syria &#8220;we had to stop them in Tehran, Fars, Isfahan and Khorasan&#8221; (State run news media Januray 6, 2017).<\/p>\n<p>Open acknowledgment of the highest ranking Iranian military officials clearly shows that as long as this regime is in power, its intervention in the whole region including in Syria, Iraq, Yemen Lebanon and Bahrain will continue. This doubles the need to designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization and to evict the regime and the IRGC from the region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secretariat of the National
