regime\u2019s economic policies, more than 75 percent of stone manufacturing units in Tehran have been closed, making 22,000 workers lose their jobs, according to reports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNearly 22,000 workers in this sector have currently lost their jobs\u201d, says a stone manufacturer, \u201cand nearly 75 percent of stone manufacturing units have been closed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are currently experiencing one of the worst sales periods\u201d, he added, \u201cThe recession in housing sector over the past few years has significantly hit stone manufacturers, forcing a lot of them to shut down their business.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He then pointed to other manufacturers who are still operating, saying \u201cthe remaining manufacturers are working with less than 30 percent of their capacity, only
