NCRI –\u00a0In statements clearly aimed at attacking Rouhani, Iranian regime\u2019s head of judiciary Sadegh Larijani said in his Monday May 15 speech \u201cunfortunately some of the candidates acted in such a way as if they were regime opposition, blackwashing and questioning state\u2019s legal entities, a measure that is definitely against regime\u2019s interests.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI decided to remain silent only for regime\u2019s interests\u201d, Larijani added, \u201cand I\u2019ll continue to do so till the end of the election. But when the time is right, I\u2019ll say what needs to be said.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, regime\u2019s first deputy of chief justice Mohseni Eje\u2019i also reacted on Sunday May 14 to Rouhani\u2019s remarks pointing to regime\u2019s \u201938 years of imprisonment and execution\u2019, implicitly introducing Rouhani as someone who was formerly a \u2018pro public execution\u2019.<\/p>\n
Eje\u2019i then pointed to comments made by \u2018some of presidential candidates\u2019, saying \u201cthe judiciary remains silent for now to avoid any unrest, but it will give necessary, decisive response to such remarks at its proper time.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cToday, presidential candidates have made comments that are not only against regime\u2019s values and its past, but they\u2019re against Islam and Islamic values as well\u201d, said regime\u2019s judiciary spokesman, adding \u201ctheir comments are quite contrary to what they themselves used to say in the past. It\u2019s strange how they\u2019re raising such issues only to gain a few more votes, if they ever can.\u201d<\/p>\n
Eje\u2019i fully defended the judiciary\u2019s performance, saying \u201cthe judiciary is implementing the same law legislated by these same people when they were representatives in parliament. It\u2019s really strange how they\u2019ve forgotten all this.\u201d<\/p>\n
Amid clashes between regime\u2019s rival bands over gaining more votes and eventually winning the presidential election, Hassan Rouhani had in his May 9 speech in Hamedan said \u201cpeople don\u2019t want those who during the past 38 years knew only how to execute and put behind bars.\u201d<\/p>\n
In reaction to Rouhani\u2019s remarks, regime\u2019s MP \u2018Mojtaba\u2019 said on Wednesday May 7\u201dback in 1980, this same Mr. Rouhani used to shout let\u2019s execute these (anti-revolutionaries and dissidents) in public and Friday prayer places. Mr. Rouhani! Why are you raising such issues now?\u201d<\/p>\n
The reality is that a significant part of Rouhani\u2019s positions in regime has been directly, or widely, related to security, having a hand in regime\u2019s highest levels of decision-making and repression of Iranian people, youth, and students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
