The country\u2019s problems are due to not having connection with the outside world. Our problems are because we have lost connection with the international system. Apparently [officials] do not understand we are on the same boat, and they keep targeting each other,\u201d <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pishkhan.com\/Archive\/1399\/07\/13990727\/ArmanMeli6511411097109505555121363.pdf\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wrote<\/a> the state-run Arman daily on Sunday.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_228155\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-228155\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Etemad_Iran_state_run_19102020\" class=\"wp-image-228155 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Etemad_Iran_state_run_19102020-300x138.jpg\" alt=\"The state-run Etemad daily\" width=\"300\" height=\"138\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Etemad_Iran_state_run_19102020-300x138.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Etemad_Iran_state_run_19102020.jpg 518w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-228155\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The state-run Etemad daily<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Iranian regime and its apologists bogusly boasted about the United Nations arms embargo being lifted on October 18. The regime\u2019s president, Hassan Rouhani, even claimed people will be happy. In this regard, the state-run Etemad daily on Sunday <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pishkhan.com\/Archive\/1399\/07\/13990727\/Etemaad6911697109101505555121363.pdf\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wrote<\/a>: \u201cContrary to the president&#8217;s view, the news of the lifting of the arms embargo is not good news for the public and has even been met with serious criticism on social media.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe rift between the public opinion and government considerations in dealing with sanctions and ruling will not be positive,\u201d Etemad warned.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_228154\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-228154\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Sanat_Iran_state_run_19102020\" class=\"wp-image-228154 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Sanat_Iran_state_run_19102020-300x114.jpg\" alt=\"The state-run Jahan-e Sanat\" width=\"300\" height=\"114\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Sanat_Iran_state_run_19102020-300x114.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Sanat_Iran_state_run_19102020-768x292.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Sanat_Iran_state_run_19102020-696x265.jpg 696w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Sanat_Iran_state_run_19102020.jpg 770w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-228154\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The state-run Jahan-e Sanat<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In addition, the state-run Jahan-e Sanat on Sunday <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pishkhan.com\/Archive\/1399\/07\/13990727\/JahanSanat749711097104505555121363.pdf\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wrote<\/a>: \u201cRouhani\u2019s announcement that the day after the end of the arms embargo, Iran will be able to sell and buy weapons is not good news for people. At least in Iran\u2019s current economic situation and amid the coronavirus outbreak.\u201d The article continued: \u201cInstead of announcing this news, Rouhani should have listened to the cries and complaints of the people about the economy that he was in charge of managing &#8230; In the current situation, organizing the economy has a higher priority.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In another article on Monday, Jahan-e Sanat daily, while calling people\u2019s increasing hatred of the regime \u201cthe society\u2019s violence,\u201d warned officials of possible major protests due to the economic and social problems.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUndoubtedly, the continuation of the economic recession and the emptying of the treasury of the government and the central bank of rials and dollars, and insufficient allocations of resources for various groups are some of the most important reasons for the society&#8217;s violence,\u201d read the article.<\/p>\n<h3>Expressing fear of people\u2019s uprising<\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_228157\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-228157\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Sedaye_eslahat_Iran_state_run_19102020\" class=\"wp-image-228157 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Sedaye_eslahat_Iran_state_run_19102020-300x141.jpg\" alt=\"The state-run Seday-e Eslahat, daily\" width=\"300\" height=\"141\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Sedaye_eslahat_Iran_state_run_19102020-300x141.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Sedaye_eslahat_Iran_state_run_19102020.jpg 524w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-228157\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The state-run Seday-e Eslahat, daily<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The state-run Seday-e Eslahat, daily on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pishkhan.com\/Archive\/1399\/07\/13990728\/SedayeEslahat8310112197100505556121364.pdf\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Monday<\/a> identified the regime\u2019s \u201cdeception and corruption\u201d as the root of what it called \u201cpeople\u2019s mistrust\u201d in the system. \u201cWe must look for the root of this problem [people&#8217;s mistrust] in lies and deception. Corruption should not be ignored either. The fact is that we are faced with various forms of corruption, in large volumes, the dimensions of which have not yet been discovered. Therefore, the minds of the country&#8217;s policymakers must be drawn to issues beyond poverty, such as misery.
