These teachers chanted: \u201cFrom the pain of bread to the pain of heart, no payment at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_228666\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-228666\" style=\"width: 690px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Female-teachers-Yazd-Iran-28102020\" class=\"size-full wp-image-228666\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Female-teachers-Yazd-Iran-28102020.jpg\" alt=\"Female teachers in Yazd (Iran) protest\" width=\"690\" height=\"387\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Female-teachers-Yazd-Iran-28102020.jpg 690w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Female-teachers-Yazd-Iran-28102020-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-228666\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Female teachers in Yazd (Iran) protest<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It is worth noting that the regime has recently increased the price of bread, thus depriving a large part of the Iranian people of their most important, and for many, the only food.<\/p>\n<p>Contract workers of the municipality in the city of Jahrom in Fars province, eastern Iran, gathered in protest for not receiving their wages for three consecutive months.<\/p>\n<p>Locals in Ardakan, Yazd province, central Iran, gathered in front of the parliament member of this city on Saturday. They protested the issuance of new licenses for steel units in this town.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, over 1000 fired Barfab factory workers in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, southwest Iran, held another protest gathering. These workers protested their Job and livelihood uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p>Workers on the Ahar-Meshkinshahr road construction project in Ardebil province in northwest Iran went on strike again on Saturday, demanding their delayed wages.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stats.sender.net\/forms\/dGYVLa\/view\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Weekly-Signe-up-logo-1\" class=\"size-full wp-image-219239 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Weekly-Signe-up-logo-1.png\" alt=\"Weekly-Signe-up-logo-1\" width=\"250\" height=\"83\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Friday, saffron growers in Kadkan city gathered to protest the sharp drop in the price of saffron flowers and the government\u2019s failure to buy this product at a reasonable price.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting that saffron\u2019s price has reached its lowest limit in the last few days.<\/p>\n<p>The ongoing protests in Iran show the Iranian people consider the regime as the real source of all economic and social problems. These protests, simultaneous with the regime\u2019s constant oppressive movements, are very important. They are in line and the continuation of the significant <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/iran-protests-2019-update\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Iran protests<\/a> in November 2019, which rattled the regime\u2019s foundations.<\/p>\n<p>The regime is neither willing nor able to address people\u2019s economic grievances. Therefore, the regime\u2019s mismanagement of all the economic and social crises, coupled with the coronavirus outbreak, has put more pressure on the Iranian people.
