Four of the domains purported to be genuine news outlets but were actually controlled by the IRGC and targeted audiences in the United States, to covertly influence United States policy and public opinion, in violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). The official death toll declared by the regime stands at 36,579, around a fourth of the actual figure. \u201cIn this peak, in contrast to the previous two peaks, we have reached the climax much faster. This shows that the virus\u2019 spread in Tehran has increased,\u201d said Alireza Zali, head of the Tehran Covid-19 Task Force on Wednesday. \u201cAll the beds that have been allocated to coronavirus in our hospitals are practically decreased from the capacity of other branches in our hospitals. Iran: Labor Protests Over Unpaid Wages, Poor Working Conditions On Tuesday, a group of workers of the Haft Tappeh Sugarcane Company resumed their protests rallies. The workers of the company have been regularly protesting delayed wages, poor working conditions, and unstable contracts. A group of workers of the Freight and Passenger Transportation Organization in the city of Yasuj, southeast Iran, held a rally on Monday, protesting delayed paychecks. This protest has been ongoing for several days. Locals in the city of Saqqez, Kurdistan province, gathered in front of the Kurdistan Governor&#039;s Office on Monday, protesting the ownership status of their lands in \u201cBagh Khan\u201d neighborhood being in limbo. A group of dismissed experienced workers from the petroleum desalination company in the city of Haftkel, Khuzestan province, gathered in front of the governor&#039;s office on Monday, and demanded officials to resolve the ongoing problems. Iran: Female Political Prisoners Attacked in Prison Political prisoners Zahra Safaei and Golrokh Iraee were once again threatened to death by an ordinary inmate. The woman, hired and provoked by the warden of Qarchak Prison, insulted and attacked two political prisoners and threatened to kill them. Prisoners are tightly restricted in their movements within the wards of Qarchak Prison. The entry of the assailant woman to the ward where several political prisoners are being held indicates a pre-meditated plan.
