The amplifying COVID-19 crisis in Iran has now turned into the regime\u2019s worst nightmare. The mullahs\u2019 regime, which sought to use coronavirus and its mass casualties to quell the restive society, now faces a more explosive society. Also, the regime\u2019s infightings have increased.<\/p>\n

The regime\u2019s new round of infighting is currently at the Health Ministry.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Said Namaki, the regime\u2019s Health Minister, at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, while trying to whitewash his role in the COVID-19 crisis, blamed the weakness of the country\u2019s medical research. \u201cEven one of the predictions in this regard [the coronavirus outbreak] was not correct,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cA minister with such broken findings is not able to run the country\u2019s health sector.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Reza Malekzadeh, Namaki\u2019s deputy of research, announced his resignation. \u201cWhenever the number of cases and deaths has increased, you have shied away from accepting responsibility. Yet, whenever the statistics have slightly decreased, you have claimed to teach the world how to manage the COVID-19 crisis. You recently spoke of launching a vaccine campaign in Iran,\u201d Malekzadeh wrote in his letter to Namaki.<\/p>\n

Malekzadeh\u2019s remarks and his letter confirms the regime\u2019s failure to deal with the COVID-19 crisis. It also shows that the rising COVID-19 death toll is the direct result of mullahs\u2019 mismanagement.<\/p>\n

The Iranian Resistance, People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran<\/a> (PMOI\/MEK), announced<\/a> on Monday that over 165,200 people had lost their lives due to the COVID-19. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak in Iran, the Iranian Resistance announced that the number of fatalities would increase due to the regime\u2019s mismanagement and cover-up of this crisis. Malekzadeh\u2019s resignation and his letter is a testament to the Iranian Resistance\u2019s warnings.<\/p>\n

Shortly after Malekzadeh, Ali Nobakht, the vice-president and secretary of the coronavirus Advisory Council, also resigned. Nobakht\u2019s resignation portrays a severe deterioration of the regime\u2019s health system.<\/p>\n

The failure of the regime\u2019s health ministry<\/h3>\n

The regime\u2019s health system has failed in controlling the COVID-19. Dr. Moayed Alaviyan, former Deputy Minister of Health, recently said: \u201cThe team of the Ministry of Health has failed in controlling the COVID-19. They should raise the white flag and say we have failed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the regime\u2019s efforts to use the coronavirus outbreak to control the restive society, recent remarks and the regime\u2019s health officials\u2019 resignation show mullahs\u2019 strategy has failed.<\/p>\n

The regime\u2019s mismanagement has increased the public\u2019s hatred toward the regime. In addition to society\u2019s restiveness, the people\u2019s tremendous anger and dissatisfaction are transmitted continuously to the system by the regime\u2019s apparatus\u2019s medical and administrative staff as a constant pressure. Now many of the regime\u2019s health officials call for the immediate closure of the country.<\/p>\n

All the while, the regime is unable to close the country. By closing the economy, the regime has to use the nation\u2019s plundered wealth and money to support people. Otherwise, poor people will rise again. The regime needs every cent to pursue its warmongering policies and fund its terrorist proxy groups.<\/p>\n

Even the regime\u2019s new \u201cextreme restrictions,\u201d It is objected to and opposed by the system\u2019s health experts, calling it useless and for security purposes rather than medical purposes.
\nIn a nutshell, the mullahs\u2019 regime is in a deadlock in dealing with the COVID-19 crisis<\/a>. There is a difference of opinion between medical experts and Hassan Rouhani, the regime\u2019s president, and the regime\u2019s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.<\/p>\n

Medical experts call for the closure of the entire country, but Khamenei and Rouhani only issued some \u201crestrictions.\u201d The Iranian people are paying the price of the regime\u2019s mismanagement of their lives. But the rising death toll will only add to the society\u2019s restiveness.
