A state-run website called Bayanerooz on June 9 2017 writes about Rouhani’s hollow promises, “The president always promises jam tomorrow. He did not achieve positive results in the 4 years of presidency. He only prioritizes measures in times of election.”<\/p>\n
Bayanerooz refers to Rouhani’s propagandas during the presidential election and writes, “The president promised the people to establish an internship system for paying unemployed youths and to run a welfare system to provide the disadvantaged families. Additionally, the equity shares were of unfulfilled promises to cheer the people up in the wake of elections. After Rouhani was selected to hold the office again, there was no news about his false promises.”<\/p>\n
One of the farmers says, “I have delivered 14 tons of wheat to the government’s purchasing centers over the past 20 days, but no one has yet paid us any money except for a bill.”<\/p>\n
He added, “Our agriculture is mostly in the form of loans and the creditors are asking for money, poison, fertilizer, etc. We are fed up with unfulfilled promises for money.”<\/p>\n
Another farmer said, “While people need money to earn livelihood especially in the holy month of Ramadan, the government does not give money to farmers. The government’s false promises discourage the farmers to deliver wheat and instead, they tend to sell their harvest in the free market at a lower price.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
