NCRI – In its July-30 editorial titled \u2018nuclear deal, mother of sanctions, and discredited assumptions\u2019, a close to Khamenei \u2018Vatan-e-Emrouz\u2019 newspaper writes \u201cin an unmatched consensus, US Democrats and Republicans passed the \u2018Mother of Sanctions\u2019 Bill, with 517 congress members voting in favor of the bill and only 5 voting against it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThis rare consensus among US lawmakers against Iran is contrary to three important prerequisites of the Geneva and Lausanne agreements as well as to the final outcome of the negotiations reflected in the 2015 nuclear deal. Vatan-e-Emrouz then raises the question \u2018who\u2019s responsible now?\u201d saying \u201cthe most important question is who\u2019s going to respond to the people, who today have neither nuclear energy nor the economic prosperity they were promised following the nuclear deal?
