Iran\u2019s economic crisis <\/a>has been at the center of attention of both domestic and foreign media. While the regime and its apologists try to blame sanctions, a closer look at the facts on the ground proves the regime is the real source of Iran\u2019s economic crisis.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The situation has reached a point where even the regime\u2019s authorities, amid their infighting, refer to the institutionalized corruption and economic mismanagement of the mullahs\u2019 regime, identifying them as the root of Iran\u2019s economic problems.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur budget\u2019s infrastructure is damaged. Look at the infrastructure of this year\u2019s budget. It is record-breaking for its own kinds. It indicates there is a 36% difference between [public] salaries and expenses,\u201d said Mohammad Bagher\u00a0Ghalibaf,<\/a> the Speaker of the regime\u2019s Majlis, on January 24, according to state TV.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ghalibaf\u00a0sheds crocodile tears for the Iranian people\u2019s salaries, while one of his deputies, during\u00a0Ghalibaf\u2019s\u00a0terms as Tehran\u2019s mayor, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on charges of corruption<\/a>. According to the regime\u2019s judiciary, Isa Sharifi,\u00a0Ghalibaf\u2019s\u00a0deputy, had plundered nearly five trillion tomans. This amount equals the salaries of 2500 workers, who earn 2.5 million tomans per month.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
