Assadi&#8217;s accomplices, Nasimeh Naami, Mehrdad Arefani, and Amir Saadouni, received 18, 17, and 15 years in prison, respectively, and the court stripped them from their Belgian citizenship. They added that according to Austrian law, Belgian authorities were entitled to arresting Assadi. They also highlighted that since he was planning to commit mass murder, international law allows authorities to strip Assadi of his diplomatic immunity and arrest him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Based on the evidence, Assadi had used his diplomatic privileges to transfer 500 grams of explosives using a commercial airliner to Vienna, Austria, where he was stationed as the third secretary of the regime&#8217;s embassy. He handed the bomb to Naami and Sadouni in Luxembourg and tried to go back to Vienna, but was arrested in Germany. Assadi used 3 of his terrorists\/spies in Europe. But the plot was foiled by authorities in Germany, France, and Belgium.24 Assadi and his 3 terrorists\/spies were arrested. German Police found two notebooks in Assadi\u2019s car. The red notebook contained coded instructions for operating the bomb.41 Another 200-page green booklet contained 289 notes. Including cash receipts and payment of the huge amounts of cash to many agents across Europe &amp; addresses related to 11 EU countries. 39% and specifically 144 out of 289 meetings of Assadi with his agents were held in Germany. Therefore, the regime&#8217;s top officials, mainly his superior, Foreign Minister <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-world\/26715-a-look-at-the-record-of-iran-regime-foreign-minister-javad-zarif\" rel=\"noopener\">Mohammad Javad Zarif<\/a>, were aware of this terrorist attack and facilitated it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8220;The MEK used its extensive lobbying network at highest political levels in Europe to influence country leaders. Thus, they thwarted Iran&#8217;s plan to bring Mr. Asadi back to Tehran, which was on the verge of being implemented by the Belgian authorities, with the help of [the so-called] revolutionary organizations,&#8221; wrote the state-run Student News network (SNN), an outlet close to the regime&#8217;s Basij militia on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The regime has used its diplomatic missions to spread terrorism across Europe. Assadi&#8217;s conviction is a turning point and a momentum to address the regime&#8217;s state-sponsored terrorism.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The regime is very much frightened of this possible outcome as its officials have called it &#8220;a dangerous precedent,&#8221; which could lead to the absolute dismantling of the regime&#8217;s networks of terrorism across the world.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stats.sender.net\/forms\/dGYVLa\/view\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Weekly-Signe-up-logo-1\" class=\"size-full wp-image-219239 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Weekly-Signe-up-logo-1.png\" alt=\"Weekly-Signe-up-logo-1\" width=\"250\" height=\"83\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Iranian Resistance has vowed to continue its efforts to expose the regime&#8217;s malign activities and end its terrorism.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8220;This is the MEK&#8217;s ominous method, to turn their achievement it into a platform for further blows and conspiracies against [the regime] and in this way they do not leave anything out,&#8221; SNN wrote in this regard.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8220;There are now reports of the MEK&#8217;s subsequent dangerous actions for similar moves against other Iranian diplomats and associates of the Islamic Republic who are serving the [regime], both tangible and intangible,&#8221; SNN added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The regime&#8217;s state-run media&#8217;s reaction further underlines mullahs&#8217; institutionalized terrorism and implores a decisive action against the terrorist regime in Tehran.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As Mrs. <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\" rel=\"noopener\">Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the Iranian Resistance&#8217;s president-elect, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/item\/maryam-rajavi-conviction-regime-terrorist-diplomat-belgian-court-antwerp-represents-iran\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>, the European leaders should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8220;Shut down the regime&#8217;s embassies and other centers in Europe, all of which are hubs for terrorism.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Hold the regime&#8217;s Foreign Minister accountable. It was proven that his ministry, and the embassy and diplomat under his control, were involved in planning and preparing for the potential mass slaughter.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Designate the entire Ministry of Intelligence and the IRGC as terrorist entities.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Prosecute the regime&#8217;s leaders who are in charge and are the masterminds of its terrorism infrastructure. They must face justice.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">The mullahs&#8217; intelligence agents and mercenaries under any cover must be prosecuted and expelled.
