Iranian regime announced its plan to further breach its commitments under Iran\u2019s 2015 nuclear deal with world powers. This provocative step<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is in line with the regime\u2019s nuclear extortion campaign.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Reuters, the regime on Monday said: \u201cit will block snap inspections by the U.N. nuclear watchdog from next week if other parties to the 2015 nuclear deal do not uphold their obligations.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2015, world powers signed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)<\/a> with the Iranian regime to somehow prevent the regime from obtaining a nuclear bomb.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi,<\/a> the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/a>, stated in July 2015 that \u201cHad the P5+1 been more decisive, the Iranian regime would have had no choice but to fully retreat from and permanently abandon its efforts to acquire nuclear weapons. Specifically, it would have been compelled to halt all uranium enrichment and completely shut down its bomb-making projects.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, due to the lack of decisive action from the world powers, and the JCPOA\u2019s loopholes, the regime secretly continue<\/span>d<\/span>\u00a0its nuclear program.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The NCRI, which was the first party to reveal the regime\u2019s nuclear weapons program, revealed in 2015 that despite formally signing the JCPOA, the regime never abided by its obligations under the deal\u2019s terms. In April 2017, the NCRI-US Representative Office revealed the continuation of the regime\u2019s nuclear activities in a center known as Research Academy in the\u00a0<\/span>Parchin<\/span>\u00a0complex southeast of Tehran.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
