NCRI –\u00a0Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the United Nations warned about the interventionist policies of the Iranian regime in the region and said the United States and Arab countries should stand against these policies.<\/p>\n
In an interview with Al Arabiya TV on September 26, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the United Nations, Abdullah al-Mualimi, referring to the speech by the US President Donald Trump and Saudi and United Arab Emirates officials at the United Nations General Assembly on the issue of terrorism by the Iranian regime, said: \u201cIn the United Nations General Assembly, we had a broad consensus in connection with the Iranian regime. This regime is not on the right path and does not adhere to any principles. The regime creates turmoil in the region and wants to show its missile forces and ballistic missile capability to the countries of the region.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe regime\u2019s intentions in the region are not constructive. We have to stop regime\u2019s fomenting sectarianism in the region and its support for terrorism. The words we heard in the United Nations show that Saudi Arabia and its brotherly and friendly countries all emphasize the prevention of such activities.\u201d<\/p>\n
It is noteworthy that other countries in the region have constantly reiterated the danger of Iranian regime and its interference in the internal affairs of other countries in the region, among them, the foreign minister of Bahrain stated that the Iranian regime is not only a threat to the region, but also to the international community as a whole.<\/p>\n
In an exclusive interview with Al Arabiya TV on September 26, when asked \u201cIs it likely the United States will withdraw from the nuclear deal on October 15th? What consequences does this have for the region?\u201d Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmad bin Muhammad al-Khalifa responded: \u201cThis [regime] is the main source of threat to the world. They are not just a threat to the region but a global threat.\u201dBahrain’s foreign minister also added: \u201cThe relationship between the Iranian regime and Qatar has not been created since the crisis, but has already existed. The Qatari Emir invited us to talk to Iran, he was interested in improving our relationship with the Iranian regime, and we always heard the word, and this is still going on. This is not a good thing, because the danger comes from Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi also said in an exclusive interview with Al Arabiya on September 25 that the Yemeni war would require a military solution because of the intervention of the regime in Tehran.<\/p>\n
Referring to the Iranian regime’s support for Houthi militants, he said: \u201cThe Houthis themselves cannot make a decision. Even if you reach an agreement with them, they will call the Iranian regime…. After they call Tehran, they withdraw from the agreement, and then you will not have any agreement.
