BRUSSELS\/PARIS (Reuters) – The European Union will target eight Iranian militia and police commanders and three state entities with sanctions next week over a deadly crackdown in November 2019 by Iranian authorities, three diplomats said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The travel bans and asset freezes will be the first time the EU has imposed sanctions on Iran for human rights abuses since 2013 and are set to be put in place some time next week after the Easter holidays in Europe, the diplomats said.<\/p>\n

BRUSSELS\/PARIS (Reuters) – The European Union is set to agree to sanction several Iranian individuals on Wednesday for human rights abuses, the first such measures since 2013, three EU diplomats said.<\/p>\n

EU envoys are expected to agree to impose travel bans and asset freezes on the individuals, the diplomats said, and their names would be published next week, when the sanctions take effect. They gave no further details.<\/p>\n

The number of victims in Tehran has reached 55,601, Isfahan 15,625, Khuzestan 14,029, Lorestan 10,148, East Azerbaijan 9,518, West Azerbaijan 9,028, Gilan 8,411, Fars 7,057, Kerman 5,309, Central Province 4,978, Semnan 4,140, North Khorasan 3,633, Ardabil 2,982, Zanjan 2,600, and South Khorasan 2,336.<\/p>\n

On March 27, the Iranian regime signed a 25-year economic deal with China, in which it liquidated a large part of the country\u2019s wealth and resources to the East Asian country. According to known details about the deal, China will invest $400 billion in different sectors, including banking, telecommunications, ports, railways, health care, and IT. Basically, the regime has forfeited the country\u2019s economic infrastructure to a foreign power.<\/p>\n

News broke out that the clerical regime had signed a \u201cComprehensive Document for 25-year Strategic Cooperation with China.\u201d By doing so, the mullahs auctioned the Iranian people\u2019s resources and properties to preserve their hated rule.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, Iranians held protests in all the country\u2019s major capitals to decry the treacherous contract. Women spearheaded many of these protests and played an active role for the past two days since the announcement of the signing of the contract.<\/p>\n
