Reports obtained by the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) indicate protests by all walks of life continue across Iran. Retirees and pensioners of Iran\u2019s Social Security Organization held rallies across the country on Wednesday, demanding their delayed pensions and higher wages as the inflation rate continues to rise.<\/p>\n

Footages from Iran show retirees and locals gathering in Tehran, Karaj, Qazvin, Khorramabad, Ardebil, Ahvaz, Sari, Andimeshk, Rasht, Tabriz, Ilam, Isfahan, Arak, Shahrud, Dezful, Shoushtar, Kermanshah, Yazd, and Kerman.<\/p>\n

Protesters were chanting: \u201cWe have heard too many lies, we will no longer vote,\u201d \u201cUntil we obtain our rights, we will be here every day,\u201d \u201cintegrity, livelihood are our rights,\u201d \u201cSocial Security, shame on you,\u201d and \u201cour country sits on treasure, pensioners are suffering.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Sunday, retirees held their nationwide protests for the 9th week. Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the opposition\u2019s President-elect, had said in this regard: \u201cThe protests by the dignified retirees recurring nationwide with the chants to boycott the sham [presidential] election, reflects the cries of protests by all Iranians to obtain their pillaged rights by the mullahs\u2019 usurper and corrupt regime.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Monday, plundered shareholders of Iran\u2019s Stock Market Exchange also reflected their hatred toward the regime and its sham presidential elections. While protesting in front of the regime\u2019s parliament, they chanted, \u201cWe have heard too many lies; we will no longer vote.\u201d<\/p>\n
