The Covid-19 outbreak has plagued Iran. \u201cThe fourth peak of the coronavirus is rapidly spreading across the country,\u201d wrote the state-run\u00a0Mostaghel\u00a0daily on Thursday. People are also grappling with poverty. Thus, Iran\u2019s society is on the verge of a social explosion<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The regime has used the coronavirus outbreak and its mass casualties to prevent another uprising. \u201cThe Covid-19 outbreak currently prevents the impoverished people\u2019s rebellion,\u201d said Ahmad Tavakoli, a member of the regime\u2019s Expediency Council, on Thursday in this regard.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, despite the regime\u2019s inhuman Covid-19 policy, daily protests by all walks of life have started after a brief pause in Winter and spread across the country.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, retirees held their nationwide rallies<\/a> for the 10th time in a row. They chanted slogans such as \u201cWe\u2019re fed up with this injustice,\u201d \u201cWe will not vote anymore. We\u2019ve heard too many lies,\u201d showing that the regime\u2019s inhumane Covid-19 policy has failed.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now the mullahs\u2019 regime faces two facts. First, the society\u2019s restiveness; as Tavakoli said, \u201cPeople are in such a difficult condition that those things [uprising] that shouldn\u2019t happen, occur.\u201d This is because people are having severe problems in making ends meet. \u201cThe situation for the low-income people is tough, and prices are increasing daily. This situation is worrying,\u201d said Ahmad\u00a0Janati, head of the regime\u2019s Guardian Council, on Thursday. People are fed up with the regime\u2019s policies, actions, and corruption, which have devastated their lives. Thus, the regime\u2019s oppressive measures and its inhumane Covid-19 policy are no longer able<\/a> to prevent people\u2019s uprising once it happens.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
