Iranians hardly make their ends meet and grapple with the Covid-19 outbreak and various economic hardships<\/a>, such as skyrocketing prices and inflation. State-run media acknowledge how mullahs’ corruption and wrong economic policies have devastated Iranian people’s lives.<\/p>\n

“scarcity of goods and the skyrocketing prices are not leaving people. Yesterday, like other days in the last seven months, people were standing in long lines to purchase poultry,” wrote the state-run Vatan-e Emrooz on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

“People’s dissatisfaction in last year increased due to various reason. People are grappling with different economic, political, cultural, and social issues,” wrote the state-run Arman daily on Thursday.<\/p>\n

“In December 2019, Hossein Salahvarzi, Vice President of Iran Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ranked Iran 119th among other countries in the world based on a global report comparing countries in the framework of 9 indicators of business opportunities, education, health, security, individual freedoms, and quality of governance,” Arman daily added.<\/p>\n

“According to the Central Bank’s official chart, the inflation rate in 2018 reached 31.2%, in 2019 reached 41.2%. According to the recent report by the Ministry of Economy<\/a>, the declared inflation rate in 2020 surpassed 44%,” wrote the state-run Tasnim News Agency on Friday.<\/p>\n
