As Iran\u2019s sham presidential election date approaches, the regime\u2019s factional feuds over more power escalates. State-run media warn<\/a> regime officials of the consequences of the rising factional feuds and their effects on Iran\u2019s restive society.<\/p>\n

The Etemad daily on Wednesday compared the regime\u2019s sham presidential elections<\/a> with a tsunami.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnaware of the severity and danger of the tsunami, people witnessed the destruction of their city from a height. When the waves approached, they suddenly realized the real danger and fled, but it was too late. The dimensions of the election waves will soon become clear to everyone. Let us all avoid a political tsunami,\u201d Etemad wrote.<\/p>\n

Etemad then compares the increasing social hatred toward the regime as \u201ccondensing\u201d water behind a \u201cdam.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the water behind the dam condenses and its reservoir fills up and reaches election night, this water overflows and destroys the bottom of the dam, and may cause the destruction of the entire dam,\u201d Etemad wrote.<\/p>\n

During the three major Iran protests in recent years, Iranians rejected the regime\u2019s longtime hoax of moderation and claims of reformism by chanting \u201creformists, hardliner, the game is over.\u201d In other words, they underlined when it comes to oppression and plundering people\u2019s wealth; there is no difference between the regime\u2019s factions.<\/p>\n

As a result, people refused to participate in the regime\u2019s sham parliamentary elections, resulting in the lowest election turnout in the regime\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

Now, as the so-called \u201creformists\u201d pose as candidates, state-run media acknowledge they will fail. In an article on Wednesday, the state-run Sharq daily, reject claims of Mostafa Tajzadeh, one of the regime\u2019s so-called reformists, about changing the regime\u2019s power apparatus through elections.<\/p>\n

Sharq\u2019s article reminds Tajzadeh that the election system and the fact that the regime\u2019s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, ultimately selects candidates do not allow anyone to change the situation.<\/p>\n
