Iranians are grappling with economic crises<\/a>. Meanwhile, the regime officials give false reports or blame sanctions for Iran\u2019s economic problems. But a glance at Iran\u2019s state-run media debunks these claims and underlines the regime is the real source of all crises.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the regime\u2019s President Hassan Rouhani, in a meeting with the so-called economic activists, claimed that his government has created thousands of jobs and reduced the inflation rate to single digits.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cRouhani is not reflecting the public opinion. These reports have nothing to do with the painful reality of people\u2019s difficult daily life gripped by poverty, unemployment and those suffering from corruption, discrimination, and inefficiency,\u201d wrote the state-run\u00a0<\/span>Sharq<\/span>\u00a0daily on Tuesday.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sharq<\/span>\u00a0adds that Rouhani\u2019s lies have nothing to do with peoples\u2019\u00a0<\/a><\/span>lives, who<\/span>, according to the reports by the \u201cofficial institutions, witness a vital good leaving their table daily. Those who are forced to live in slums and\u00a0<\/span>suburbs and<\/span>\u00a0are\u00a0searching\u00a0garbage to find their food.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to\u00a0<\/span>Abdolnasser<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Hemmati<\/span>, Iran\u2019s Central Bank Chief, the government had resorted to banknote printing to compensate for its budget deficit. The banknote printing increased the liquidity growth and ultimately the inflation rate and prices of goods.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
