It demanded that Mehran\u2019s family pressure him to recant, collaborate with the MOIS, and denounce the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/pmoi-mek\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Mujahedin-e Khalq<\/a> (<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/i\/primer-the-history-the-peoples-mojahedin-organization-iran\" rel=\"noopener\">MEK\/PMOI<\/a>). This they said, must happened before a formal court ruling is issued.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Mehran Gharabaghi, 29, a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, was arrested on January 18, 2020, along with a friend, Majid Khademi, 29, and transferred to Behbahan Prison after a month-long interrogation.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_240322\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-240322\" style=\"width: 223px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Majid-Khademi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Majid-Khademi\" class=\" wp-image-240322\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Majid-Khademi.jpg\" alt=\"Majid-Khademi\" width=\"223\" height=\"232\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Majid-Khademi.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Majid-Khademi-288x300.jpg 288w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Majid-Khademi-150x156.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Majid-Khademi-300x312.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 223px) 100vw, 223px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-240322\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Majid Khademi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Mehran and Majid were both tried on April 25 on charges of propaganda against the state, membership in the MEK, participation in destruction and arson, disturbing public order, participation in the manufacture of flammable materials, and &#8220;corruption on earth.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">While their trial has not yet ended, the MOIS has informed the Qarabaghi family of Mehran\u2019s execution order. Mehran&#8217;s family went to the court on Thursday, May 20, to follow up on his condition. But the court clerk threatened to arrest them and forced them to leave.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Iranian Resistance calls for urgent international action to prevent the execution of Mehran Gharahbaghi and save the life of Majid Khademi.
