Iranian people are suffering from economic crises. Meanwhile, the Iranian regime and its affiliates continue hoarding Iran\u2019s national wealth. One of the plans the regime has used to plunder people is using the so-called private sector<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In an article titled \u201castronomical numbers, but little information,\u201d the state-run\u00a0Sharq\u00a0daily acknowledged one of the regime\u2019s embezzlements through the so-called private companies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cA memorandum of understanding worth 300 trillion tomans was signed between the Ministry of Mining Industry and Trade and five large companies: Copper,\u00a0Golgohar,\u00a0Goharzamin,\u00a0Zar\u00a0Macaroni, Iran Radiator. Another memorandum of understanding worth\u00a0152\u00a0quadrillion\u00a0tomans\u00a0was signed in March. This agreement was within the framework of the \u2018resistance economy; and a continuation of the previous memorandum, which was also signed with five other companies: Chador Mello, Arak Machinery, Al-Mahdi Aluminum,\u00a0Sepahan\u00a0Oil, Shirin Asal,\u201d\u00a0Sharq\u00a0acknowledged.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thus, according to Sharq, the regime has plundered \u201ca total of 450 quadrillion tomans or $23 billion of investment memorandum in about two to three months. Meanwhile, the total development budget of the country this year is about 120 quadrillion tomans. Also, this figure is almost more than one-third of the\u00a0 country’s current budget .\u201d <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe figure of\u00a0450\u00a0quadrillion tomans\u00a0of the Memorandum of Understanding for investment in the mining, industry, food, and petrochemical sectors is in a situation where the total investment in our country in 2019 was less than\u00a0100\u00a0quadrillion\u00a0Tomans, of which\u00a076\u00a0quadrillion\u00a0Tomans\u00a0was done by the private sector,\u201d\u00a0Sharq\u00a0added.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sharq\u00a0then acknowledges that due to the \u201cnegative investment growth in the country, such large investments, due to the lack of changes in the components necessary to attract capital, is surprising.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sharq\u2019s\u00a0article then asks: Are these memorandums related to the \u201cpublic-private partnership\u201d bill that is currently waiting for the parliament\u2019s approval.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
