This so-called debate showed the exacerbating infightings in the regime only days before its sham presidential election.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">All candidates of sham election started accusing each other of <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/economy\/irans-economic-crises-and-how-it-affects-society\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Iran\u2019s economic<\/a> and social crises and acknowledged some of the regime\u2019s corruption.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The regime\u2019s supreme leader <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/i\/iran-ali-khamenei-suprem-leader\" rel=\"noopener\">Ali Khamenei<\/a> eliminated all candidates through his Guardian Council, no matter how much they were involved in the regime\u2019s crimes. Khamenei allowed only seven candidates to run up for the sham election in a bid to keep a democratic fa\u00e7ade for the regime. Because all signs indicate, Khamenei has decided to pull <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-election\/iran-presidential-election-2021-ebrahim-raisi-chief-regime-henchman-vies-for-iranian-presidency\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Ebrahim Raisi<\/a> out of the ballot box as a part of his policy to consolidate power in the regime to confront Iran\u2019s restive society, which is on the verge of explosion.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Despite Khamenei\u2019s massive purge of candidates, the hand-picked candidates clashed with one another during the debate, showing the regime\u2019s unstable situation. They acknowledged Iran\u2019s economic and social crisis and the regime\u2019s role in creating and deepening them.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201c50% of people are living under the poverty line,\u201d Mohsen\u00a0Mehralizadeh, one of the regime\u2019s candidates and a former Governor of Isfahan, acknowledged.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cThe national currency is annihilated,\u201d said Alireza\u00a0Zakani, current MP from Khamenei\u2019s faction.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cOver two quadrillion tomans of banknote is printed daily,\u201d said Saeed Jalili, the former secretary of the regime\u2019s Supreme National Security Council.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cThe liquidity has increased 70,000 times,\u201d said Amir<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2011<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Hossein\u00a0Ghazizadeh\u00a0Hashemi, current MP from Khamenei\u2019s faction.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201c80% of economic licenses are obtained through corruption.
