Days before Iran\u2019s sham presidential<\/a> election calls for boycotting the election have amplified both inside and outside the country. The People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)<\/a>, its Resistance Units, and supporters have played a key role in popularizing the call to boycott the regime\u2019s election.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In recent days, the MEK supporters and members of the Iranian diaspora have held several protests in Canada and Europe, echoing the Iranian people\u2019s desire for regime change and calls for boycotting the regime\u2019s sham election.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The MEK supporters and Iranians abroad have underlined that people do not forget Ebrahim Raisi\u2019<\/a>s role in the 1988 massacre<\/a> of 30,000 political prisoners. Raisi is the preferred candidate of the regime\u2019s supreme leader Ali Khamenei.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On Sunday, simultaneous with negotiations between the regime and the world powers, Iranians<\/a> in Vienna, Austria held a protest, calling for regime change in Iran and exposing the mullahs\u2019 human rights violations. They held pictures of Mr. Massoud Rajavi, the Iranian Resistance Leader, and Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/a>. Protesters held a sign which read: \u201cMaryam Rajavi<\/a>: The people of Iran want the mullahs\u2019 regime punished through a comprehensive boycott.\u201d\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In a similar development on Sunday, the MEK supporters in Bucharest, Romani, held a rally, echoing the calls for boycotting the regime\u2019s sham presidential election.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On Saturday, dozens of cities in Canada and Europe witnessed a protest by the MEK supporters.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The MEK supporters in Vienna held a banner reminding the world powers that \u201cnuclear negotiations with Iran must include human rights and the fight against Iran\u2019s state-sponsored terrorism.\u201d They held a large banner that read, \u201cIranians want regime change.\u201d\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In Gothenburg, Sweden, Iranians held a protest on Saturday, calling for regime change and underlining that the Iranian people\u2019s vote is regime change. They also chanted, \u201cRaisi the murderer, you will be tried soon.\u201d Iranians in Stockholm, Sweden, joined their compatriots in calling for boycotting the regime\u2019s farce election.
