In 2018, our organization documented how Ebrahim Raisi had been a member of the \u2018death commission\u2019 which forcibly disappeared and extrajudicially executed in secret thousands of political dissidents in Evin and Gohardasht prisons near Tehran in 1988. The official death toll declared by the regime stands at 82,619, around a fourth of the actual figure.<\/p>\n<p>The coronavirus death toll in various provinces includes 73,566 in Tehran, 21,100 in Isfahan, 19,766 in Khuzestan, 19,085 in Razavi Khorasan, 12,430 in Lorestan, 10,456 in Gilan, 7326 in Sistan &amp; Baluchistan, 7043 in Kerman, 4325 in Hormozgan, 3309 in Bushehr, 3276 in Ilam, 2585 in Chaharmahal &amp; Bakhtiari, and 2454 in Kohgiluyeh &amp; Boyer Ahmad.
