<\/h2>\n<\/h2>\nUPDATE: 9:30 PM CEST<\/strong><\/p>\n Since yesterday, the public outrage over the water and power outages has shocked the entire establishment in Tehran and local authorities. Even though the regime’s president, parliament’s speaker, the ministry of energy, and other officials have vowed to address the problem, the Iranian people know that no one is going to help them. Patients in hospitals are helplessly let down, food at stores and bakeries, and complete households are destined to decay. As such, Iranians showed their anger on the streets.<\/p>\n Isfahan dairy farmers poured milk on the street to protest the high price of feed and the low price of their products. In\u00a0Ghirokarzin, southwest Iran, people rallied outside the local Electricity Department at around 3 am local time protesting lengthy and unannounced blackouts. In Damghan, east of Tehran, cattle owners protested against constant blackouts and officials’ indifference by spilling their milk into the streets.<\/p>\n Reports indicate that during today’s early morning protest in Fardis against blackouts, security forces attacked locals and arrested several people.
