NCRI –\u00a0According to Iran\u2019s head of Azad University, there are currently 20,000 unemployed PhD students in the country.<\/p>\n
While speaking in Hamedan, Farhad Rahbar said \u201ctoday, there are 47,000 PhD students in the country, of whom 20,000 are unemployed\u201d, according to the terrorist Quds Force\u2019s Tasnim news agency.<\/p>\n
Rahbar warned that \u201cthis could turn into a crisis if nothing is done in this regard.\u201d<\/p>\n
Also in this regard, state-run Eghtesad-Online website had reported in November last year that 204,000 university graduates with Master\u2019s and PhD degrees were unemployed.<\/p>\n
According to a report released by regime\u2019s Statistics Center, 5,038,000 Iranian workers with high school and pre-university degrees account for the largest part of Iran\u2019s working population. This is followed by 3,123,900 workers with Bachelor\u2019s degree and 1,007,900 workers with Master\u2019s and PhD degrees.<\/p>\n
The smallest portion of Iran\u2019s working population belongs to specialized PhD degree holders, who account for 100,704. Moreover, 204,000 of the country\u2019s Master\u2019s and PhD holders are unemployed.<\/p>\n
As head of regime\u2019s Management and Planning Organization during Ahmadinejad\u2019s presidency and also a key figure in Ebrahim Raeisi\u2019s presidential campaign, Farhad Rahbar was appointed the head of Azad University after Hamid Mirzadeh was sacked.<\/p>\n
Among the changes made by Azad University\u2019s new administration is the introduction of an 8-item instruction, which requires observing regime\u2019s dress code and ethics and bans smoking at Azad University spaces, under no circumstances allows mixed student field trips to be made, bans music concerts at Azad university environments, gives more privileges to revolutionary students and teachers so they can play a bigger role, and requires observing regime\u2019s religious, moral, and scientific standards when holding welcoming or graduation ceremonies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
