Yesterday, a large crowd of Ahvaz residents protested outside the state radio and television center. In fear of spreading the protests, the mullahs\u2019 regime sent Ali Sari, a member of the regime&#039;s parliament, to the scene to calm the people and speak to them. But the protesters booed and pushed him out of the scene. The repressive forces attacked the people by shooting, throwing tear gas and with batons. The calsh between the people and repressive forces continued for long on the nearby streets. A number of protesters were arrested. Iranian Resistance calls on the people of Khuzestan to show their solidarity and support for the demonstrators, and calls on the international human rights organizations to condemn the policy of suppression and discrimination of the medieval regime ruling Iran, and to take action for the immediate release of the arrested people. They held a banner reading \u201cYear 2018, is the year of emptying the table of the workers of Haft Tapeh\u201d, chanting \u201cWorker of Haft Tapeh, we are hungry!\u201d They marched toward the Andimeshk-Ahvaz transit road, and then moved toward the governorate with motorcycles and cars. The mercenaries clashed with the workers on their way and shot at them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new round of strike of the Haft Tapeh Sugar Cane workers has begun since March 27 following the announcement of factory closure by government-appointed and plunderer directors.<\/p>\n<div class=\"lyte-wrapper\" title=\"SHUSH, Iran. The Haft Tappeh Sugarcane workers have been protesting against the nonpayment of their salaries, rewards and benefits for two months. The protesting workers marched to the Haft Tappeh market and had two large banners, written on them: \u201cWorkers of Haft Tappeh, we are hungry, we are hungry.\u201d and \u201cIn 2018 the Haft Tappeh workers still have empty tables\u201d. The workers also chanted: \u201cWe theWorkers of Haft Tappeh, are hungry, we are hungry\u201d. They also protested against the private sector employers and chanted: \u201cWe do not want Eghbali\u201d and \u201cNo to Rustami or Beigi, the company must be public.\u201d During their protest march, the workers tried to burn down the banners installed by the employer. The strike and march of the Haft Tappeh Sugarcane workers is in response to the publication of a list of land plots assigned to crop production and the news of the expulsion of all the forces of the daily paid workers in May. Haft Tappeh Sugarcane workers are demanding their salary payments, the opening of water quotas for irrigation and also the return of the sugarcane company from the private sector in to the public sector.\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"lL\" style=\"max-width:100%;width:853px;margin:5px;\"><\/div><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; People in the village of Jodaneh gathered in protest against the serious water shortage problem in front of the governorate of Miami (in Semnan province).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Ziar farmers in Isfahan protesting the water crisis and the destruction of their agriculture lined up their tractors in protest and called for their water share.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The farmers of Lenjan, Isfahan, gathered in front of the city&#8217;s governorate with their tractors, to protest water shortage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The people of the city of Faal in the south of Fars province gathered for the third time against the governorate of the city, protested the construction of a gas pipeline on the natural lands of the area, and called for the pipeline to be redirected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">People in the Zoviyeh district of Ahvaz were confronted for the second day with agents who had rushed to the neighborhood to demolish their homes and threw stones at them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On March 27, the fired staff of the Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences gathered in front of the governorate of this city.
