Resounding Iran Defeat From Baghdad to Beirut<\/h3>\n

THE UN Security Council\u2019s endorsement of the results of the recent Iraqi elections came as a fatal blow to the camp of the militias affiliated with Iran. Therefore, the demands of this camp for manual counting, or the rerun of the elections on the original date in 2022 are no longer valid. Today, they are trying to prove their ability to destabilize civil peace under the slogan \u201cEither we are in power, or no country\u201d.<\/p>\n

The pressures exerted by these gangs will not change the reality in which the Iraqis have proven that they are fed up with corruption, the wear and tear of institutions, and the political class\u2019s subservience to Iran. Meanwhile, the sectarian slogans, which used to be a force of attraction, fell with the October uprising in 2019, and this was translated into the ballot boxes on October 10.<\/p>\n

Afghanistan Meeting Turned Out Futile for Tehran<\/h3>\n

Today, despite previous planning, Ebrahim Raisi, the Iranian regime’s president did not attend the meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries; Mohammad Mokhber, the vice president participated instead.<\/p>\n

In this meeting, foreign ministers from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Pakistan attended in person, while their Chinese and Russian counterparts participated virtually. A Taliban spokesman had previously announced that the group would not attend the Tehran summit, unlike their participation in the Moscow summit.\u00a0Iranian state media criticized the meeting and used condemning language against the Taliban and Russia.<\/p>\n

Terrified of Social Upheaval, Iranian Regime Resorts to Wargames<\/h3>\n

Approaching the second anniversary of the November 2019 uprising, the Iranian regime conducted war games by special forces in urban combat mode.<\/p>\n

Quds force affiliated news agency, Tasnim reported: “Special forces conducted an urban warfare operation by carrying out a pre-determined plan and offensive missions. They liberated the city occupied by the hypothetical enemy and then carried out an accelerated defensive drill across the city.”<\/p>\n

In November 2019, the sudden spike in gas prices triggered major uprisings across Iran. During four days, protesters took to the streets in at least 191 cities, calling for regime change. They burned down police stations, banks, gas stations, and offices of the ruling clerics. The regime shut down the internet and brutally cracked down on protesters. It was the most severe security crisis in the regime’s history.<\/p>\n

Iranian Regime’s Judiciary Upholds Severe Sentencing Against Poor Father for Stealing Food<\/h3>\n

Iranian regime’s Judiciary defended the inhuman sentencing of imprisonment and flogging of a deprived father of three children for steeling some food.<\/p>\n

A reporter from the IRGC-affiliated Fars News Agency asked the Judiciary’s spokesman: “In recent days, concerning the sentence of one of the Judiciary’s branches that ordered ten months imprisonment and forty lashes for stealing three packets of cashew, it seems like the crime isn’t fitting the punishment. What is the Judiciary’s stance regarding this sentence?<\/p>\n

Zabiollah Khodaeian, the Judiciary’s spokesman answered: “The ruling, which was issued based on the law and was in compliance with the law, has no objections, although there are some formal objections to it.”<\/p>\n

Iraq Blames Iran for Drastic Decline in Sirwan River Flow<\/h3>\n

Iraqi officials warned Tuesday of a drastic drop in the flow of water in a river from Iran due to low rainfall and dam-building in the neighboring Islamic republic.\u00a0The Sirwan river begins in Iran, flowing to Darbandikhan Dam in northeastern Iraq before going through the rural province of Diyala and joining the Tigris.<\/p>\n

In Tehran, the number of victims has reached 108,705, Khorasan Razavi 37,970, Isfahan 31,565, West Azerbaijan 17,103, Fars 16,930, East Azerbaijan 16,138, Lorestan 15,410, Alborz 13,678, Sistan and Baluchestan 13,020, Kerman 12,367, Hormozgan 7,785, Yazd 7,623, Bushehr 5,219, Zanjan 4,410, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 3,374.<\/p>\n
