\u2022 Iran regime diplomat arrested in Germany will be sent to Belgium<\/strong><\/p>\n

July 4, 2018 – The Iranian diplomat arrested in the German state of Bavaria will be transferred to Belgium, according to Deutsche Welle Persian citing the prosecutor\u2019s office in Germany\u2019s Bamberg state. This entity is not permitted to provide more information on this developing subject, according to the Bamberg prosecutor\u2019s office public relations desk.<\/p>\n

Asdollah Assadi, 47, is an Iranian diplomat at Tehran\u2019s embassy in Vienna, according to the Brussels prosecutor\u2019s office, and will be transferred to Belgium following his recent arrest in Germany.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Iran’s Guards threatens to block oil shipments in Gulf<\/strong><\/p>\n

An Iranian Revolutionary Guards commander said on Wednesday that Tehran will block oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz in the Gulf if the United States bans Iranian oil sales.<\/p>\n

“If they want to stop Iranian oil exports, we will not allow any oil shipment to pass through the Strait of Hormuz,\u201d Ismail Kowsari was quoted as saying by the Young Journalists Club.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Four women dervishes each sentenced to five years in prison<\/strong><\/p>\n

Four women dervishes detained in Qarchak (a.k.a. Shahr-e Ray) Prison in Varamin have been sentenced to 20 years in prison on the charge of “association and complicity to disrupt national security.” The Revolutionary Court sentenced Nazilla Noori, Avisha Jalaleddin, Sima Entessari and Shima Entessari, each to five years in prison.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Women gynecologists held a protest in Tehran<\/strong><\/p>\n

Women gynecologists held a protest in Tehran on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Participants had come together from various Iranian cities. On the same day, students applying for studying as assistant doctors or dentists also held a protest.<\/p>\n

In Tehran, more than 200 women gynecologists held a protest in Tehran against the unscientific, mandatory promotion of natural delivery. The protest took place outside the Medical System Building in North Kargar Ave. in Tehran.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The water crisis in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n

Iran, July 4, 2018 – Economy experts are describing the severe water shortage crisis in Iran as one of this country\u2019s super challenges, highlighting the scope and importance of this subject.<\/p>\n

Among 116 countries Iran is ranked 14th in the water crisis.<\/p>\n

Kerman Province in the south-central region of Iran is known for its pistachio farms, especially in the cities of Kerman, Rafsanjan, and Sirjan. Pistachio production has dropped by more than 50 percent while this province used to provide more than 80 percent of Iran\u2019s pistachios. Estimates indicate pistachio farming in Kerman Province will fall to zero in the next decade.<\/p>\n

The regime\u2019s own Mehr news agency reports less than 40 percent of Iran\u2019s 66 large dams to have water these days.
