Absence genuine care for agriculture, the regime has been literally stealing their water, holding it behind multiple <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/how-irgc-created-and-amplifies-irans-water-crisis\/\" rel=\"noopener\">IRGC-constructed dams<\/a>, and diverting it to state-owned facilities to advance its malign ambitions. Now, the farmers\u2019 demands have become political and today, they started chanting \u201cDeath to the dictator.\u201d <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Despite the security forces raiding their sit-in and burning down their tents last night, farmers in Isfahan started their protests on Friday.\u00a0\u00a0They had called on their fellow citizens for a large gathering on Friday. Nonetheless, none of these planned bore fruit, and now farmers have no means to irrigate their lands. The head of West Ahvaz Health Center Dr. Mehran Ahmadi Balutaki told the state-run Fars news agency on December 11: \u201cOur concern is not limited to the microbial contamination of the water. The water lacks chlorine or does not contain any chlorine.\u201d On December 8, the head of the Inspection Organization of Iran Hassan Darwishian told ILNA state-run news agency, \u201cAllocation of three percent of oil income to Khuzestan province is a considerable budget. An investigation is needed into why a significant amount of this budget has not been paid,\u201d 700 villages in Khuzestan have no running water, and water is being taken to the locations through tankers. (state-run Khuzna news agency) The Iranian regime\u2019s supreme leader Ali Khamenei and president Hassan Rouhani spend billions of dollars each year to expand the regime\u2019s nuclear program and ballistic missiles and to export terrorism abroad. Now, this is how people in one of the richest provinces of Iran face corruption and mismanagement of the regime. The people of Khuzestan have protested the water crisis for years.
