\u2022 Call by Iranian Communities<\/strong><\/p>\n

The nationwide popular uprisings today, are the continuation of the aspirations and paths of those fallen for freedom in 1988. Those who said \u2018no!\u2019 to the henchmen and sacrificed their lives for freedom in Iran.<\/p>\n

On the 30th anniversary of the 1988 Massacre <\/a>of political prisoners in Iran, thousands from across the Iranian diaspora and representatives of Iranian Associations, along with prominent international social and political personalities will gather in Paris, London, Berlin, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Rome, Oslo, Brussels, Bern, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Bucharest, Helsinki, Gothenburg, Aarhus, Stuttgart. Survivors and relatives of the massacre will also share their experiences and observations with the participants.<\/p>\n

Congressman Patrick Kennedy and a number of European lawmakers, will be among the participants at the Paris conference.<\/p>\n

This international gathering of the Iranian communities will begin at 5 pm CEST and 11 am EST and will be broadcasted live in Persian, English, French and Arabic on social network and websites of the Resistance and Iranian communities.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Merkel Cool On EU Independent Payment System to Save Iran Deal<\/strong><\/p>\n

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Wednesday she agreed with her foreign minister that relations with the United States are changing but she stopped short of backing his call for a separate EU payments system to save a nuclear deal with Iran.<\/p>\n

“On the question of independent payment systems, we have some problems in our dealings with Iran, no question, on the other hand we know that on questions of terrorist financing, for example, SWIFT is very important,” Merkel told reporters.<\/p>\n

She added that it was very important to keep good co-operation with the United States in the area of security.<\/p>\n

\u2022 U.S. exposes Iran\u2019s \u2018lie\u2019 about indigenous fighter jet \u2018Kowsar\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The US Department of State\u2019s electronic communication team refuted on its twitter account, Iran\u2019s \u201clie\u201d about the new fighter jet it said it had recently produced.<\/p>\n

The Iranian defense system revealed a new fighter jet that it said was sophisticated and local made, said the US Department of State\u2019s Communication Team.<\/p>\n

The team added in a supported video tweet saying: \u201cIt seems that regime officials are not sufficiently familiar with the development of the aviation industry. Their plane is very similar to a fighter jet produced by the United States decades ago and Iran has an old fleet of these planes. Deception is their favorite means.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Iran unveiled its first homemade fighter jet, while President Hassan Rouhani stressed that the sole purpose of Tehran\u2019s military force is to deter enemies and establish a \u201clasting peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022 Bolton: US Wants Stronger Iran Sanctions Than Pre-Nuclear Deal<\/strong><\/p>\n

U.S. President Donald Trump’s national security adviser says the reimposition of economic sanctions against Iran has had a “profound effect,” and the administration wants to go further than the measures in place before the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.<\/p>\n

John Bolton said Wednesday that U.S. officials have spoken with allies about what else could be done to achieve “maximum pressure” on Iran, including further sanctions and other unspecified measures.<\/p>\n

“The Iran nuclear deal mitigated the effects of its mismanagement of the economy and gave the regime new life,” Bolton said. “Gave this regime that\u2019s been the central banker of international terrorism since 1979 new assets that it could use for its nuclear weapons program, for its ballistic missile program, for its terrorist support activities, for its conventional military activities.”<\/p>\n
