A conference to discuss the growing terrorist threat of the Iranian Regime and how the international community must respond was held yesterday in Brussels and was attended by politicians, legal experts, and dignitaries from Europe, U.S. and the Iranian opposition.<\/p>\n
The conference, titled \u201cIran\u2019s New Wave of Terrorism: EU and US Responses\u201d, was moderated by Dr. Alejo Vidal Quadras, former Vice President of the European Parliament.<\/p>\n
Vidal Quadras drew attention to the increased levels of terrorist activities against the Iranian opposition, especially the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK), and the assessment by European authorities that the Iranian Regime was directly responsible for attacks on European soil.<\/p>\n
Vidal Quadras said: \u201cThere has been no official statement by the [European] foreign policy chief on the issue of the Iranian regime\u2019s terrorist activities on European soil. The question is: Why? Don\u2019t they know what\u2019s happening? Can Europe afford to tolerate the Iranian regime\u2019s terrorism for the sake of the nuclear deal or trade with Iran?\u201d<\/p>\n
Indeed, there have been two attempted Iranian terror attacks on Europe in 2018 alone; one in Albania in March and one in France in June. The June attempt resulted in the arrest of four conspirators, including Iranian diplomat to Vienna, Asdollah Assadi.<\/p>\n
