Popular Mobilization Forces) and the secretary-general of Kata&#8217;ib Hezbollah, both Iraqi proxies of the Iranian regime.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Soleimani\u2019s death delivered an irreparable blow to Iran\u2019s ruling theocracy and its warmongering machine.\u00a0Regime officials\u2019 remarks confirmed this fact.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cI offer my sincere condolences today because, in such a critical situation, we needed a field commander like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/terrorism-a-fundamentalism\/obituary-to-a-mass-killer\/\">martyr Soleimani<\/a>. We really miss him today, and he left us in sorrow and grief. We feel his absence in the Resistance fronts [the regime\u2019s proxy wars],\u201d said Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the regime\u2019s parliament speaker on December 30.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cYou know that on social media, the enemy has designed a method that if you use [Soleimani\u2019s] name or picture, the platform warns you and closes your account or page. About two months ago, I got a warning because I had mentioned his name in one of my posts on Instagram. After his primary education, he went to Kerman and worked as a construction worker. In the final years of the Shah\u2019s regime, Soleimani worked for the water organization. He had no part in the people\u2019s struggle for freedom against the Shah. Qassem Soleiman came from Baft in Kerman. He was a simple plumber worker that had come to Kerman to find a job. After the 1979 Revolution and its atmosphere, this man, like others, with the same opinions joined the Revolutionary Guard (IRGC). After the fall of the Shah, he entered the IRGC and was responsible for IRGC\u2019s training in Kerman. After Khomeini\u2019s fatwa to suppress the people of Iranian Kurdistan (1980), he was sent there and for two years he commanded the IRGC\u2019s raids on Kurdish villages. After the 1979 revolution the power circle in the South East of Iran, especially in Kerman was summarized in three evil people who executed Khomeini\u2019s inauspicious plans. On one hand, suppressing the opponents and on the other hand, preparing the ground for anti-Iran war with Iraq. Qassem Soleimani was one these three, together with the criminal mullah Ali Iranmanesh, regime\u2019s Friday\u2019s prayer and Director General of Education in Kerman to made preparations to send the students to the war front. The third person was Ghalanbar, who was the founder of the Intelligence Ministry in this area to suppress the freedom activist and the members of the MEK. At that time, I knew another person, Mohammad Hossein Tayi who was among the IRGC commanders. After a while in 1980, the IRGC in Kerman was sent to Kurdistan to suppress the people. I heard from him (Tayi) for the first time the name of Qassem Soleimani, that he was responsible for training the IRGC forces in Kerman. The IRGC\u2019s forces are among the cruelest forces engaged in this operation. The whole city knew they murder people under the pretext of thugs. After some years that I saw the pictures of the Kurdistan massacre, this memory was reminded to me. Qassem Soleimani raised to the top of the IRGC by committing such crimes. Qassem Soleimani was commander of the Quds garrison of Kerman. His responsibility included training and dispatching students to the Iran-Iraq warzone. A war in which many students were used as disposable soldiers for clearing the minefields. The result of this war for the people of Iran was more than two million dead, wounded or disabled, &#36;1 trillion in damage, 50 ruined cities, and 3000 destroyed villages. In 1982 and 1983 which are the years of Khomeini\u2019s warmongering, the regime faced limitation of forces, Qassem Soleimani together with Ali Iranmanesh sand young students to the war fronts. Qassem Soleimani was personally responsible in Kerman and South east provinces for this. Every morning at schools for one hour students were forced to participate in religious ceremonies and at the end, they had to subscribe for the front and some Basiji mercenaries were responsible to send students to the front. I remember exactly that number of these students were brought back in coffins the next year. In cities were rumors they were hit by chemical weapons and later we understood that they all choked in Chalamcheh front. One of my classmates, Hamid Sadeghi who trapped in this fall, one less than a week one of the casualties. The main person responsible for sending young students to the front was a Basiji mercenary named Mohammad Reza Rajizadeh. Khamenei appointed Soleimani in 1998 as head of the IRGC Quds Force. Soleimani\u2019s participation in suppressing and killing Kurdish people and the people of the southern and south-eastern provinces was seen by Khamenei as enough experience. What happened a year after Soleimani&#039;s presence in the Quds Force Huge explosions in Kenya and Tanzania with hundreds of deaths and wounded, which was also mentioned by Rafsanjani during Friday prayers to motivate regime troops. Under the command of Qassem Soleimani, the Quds Force expanded its terrorist activities in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and North, and South America. Central Asian countries and Muslim republics that separated from the former Soviet Union were also hit. Soleimani was under the direct command of Khamenei and was his closest confidant in the IRGC. He was Khamenei\u2019s special advisor who commanded the regime\u2019s expansion of terrorism and infiltration in countries in the region. Soleimani was a member of the regime\u2019s Supreme National Security Council, because of his closeness to Khamenei and his decisive role in the regime\u2019s decision makings and policies in the region. In addition to commanding the IRGC Quds Force, he was Secretary of the Strategic Policy Council of Iraq and was responsible for everything that was happening in Iraq.\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"lL\" style=\"max-width:100%;width:853px;margin:5px;\"><\/div><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Iranians in and out of the country enthusiastically welcomed Soleimani\u2019s elimination. Similarly, the people of Syria and Iraq, where Soleimani butchered people in his effort to prop up the murderous regime of Bashar-al Assad or the puppet government of Nouri-al Maliki in Iraq, publicly celebrated his killing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">While the regime has tried to\u00a0deny this fact, a bit of reality seeped into state media broadcasts in the run-up to Soleimani\u2019s death anniversary in 2021. In one program on December 31, 2021, an analyst acknowledged that after the news broke on January 3, 2020, \u201cSuddenly, we saw people in the region distributing sweets among each other celebrating the death of commander Soleimani.\u201d This observation\u00a0was independently corroborated\u00a0by social media users who took advantage of the pending anniversary as an opportunity to circulate the footage of those celebrations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Despite the regime\u2019s efforts to portray Soleimani as a national hero, defiant youth tore down or set fire to thousands of Soleimani&#8217;s posters during the major Iran protests in January 2020.\u00a0At the same time, Iranians have not missed any opportunity to mock and ridicule Soleimani and the regime.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In reaction, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/iranntv.com\/904507_%D8%B3%D8%A7%D9%84%DA%AF%D8%B1%D8%AF-%D9%87%D9%84%D8%A7%DA%A9%D8%AA-%D8%AF%DA%98%D8%AE%DB%8C%D9%85-%D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B3%D9%85-%D8%B3%D9%84%DB%8C%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%86%DB%8C-%D9%88-%D8%AF%D8%A7%D8%BA-%D8%AF%D9%84\" rel=\"noopener\">said on January<\/a> 1, 2022<a href=\"https:\/\/iranntv.com\/904507_%D8%B3%D8%A7%D9%84%DA%AF%D8%B1%D8%AF-%D9%87%D9%84%D8%A7%DA%A9%D8%AA-%D8%AF%DA%98%D8%AE%DB%8C%D9%85-%D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B3%D9%85-%D8%B3%D9%84%DB%8C%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%86%DB%8C-%D9%88-%D8%AF%D8%A7%D8%BA-%D8%AF%D9%84\"><\/a>: \u201cYou are aware of what they do to his name on social media. This is a punishment for our officials and us, so we learn what to do with this [social media].\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In 2020, Mahmoud al-Zahar, a senior member of Hamas\u2019 leadership, told Al-Alam, the Arabic-language network of Iran\u2019s state-run television, that during a 2006 meeting with Qassem Soleimani in Tehran, he explained \u201cthe fundamental problem of staff and social services of the people of Gaza\u201d to Soleimani.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cHaj Qassem immediately responded to our request and on the next day, when the trip was over, I saw $22 million in our luggage in the airport,\u201d al-Zahar said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On December 27, 2021, the Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah heaped praise on Soleimani for providing \u201clogistical support\u201d to the Hezbollah and not recognizing \u201cany red lines\u201d in sending 9M133 Kornet missiles to Gaza for Hamas and the Islamic Jihad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Nasrallah acknowledged that after the 33-day war in 2006, when 200,000 homes were destroyed in Lebanon, Soleimani paid one years\u2019 worth of rent and expenses to the families who had lost their homes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Soleimani had also coordinated and planned attacks in places as far-flung as Thailand, New Delhi, Lagos, and Nairobi. In those counties, the Quds Force carried out at least 30 terrorist attacks in 2011 and 2012. From January 11, 1993, to April 2003, the Quds Force carried out over 150 terrorist attacks against the MEK in Iraq.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Quds Force developed the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/national-security\/irans-quds-force-was-blamed-for-attacks-on-us-troops-in-iraq\/2011\/10\/11\/gIQAPqv0dL_story.html\">Improvised Explosive Device (IED)<\/a>\u201d to target MEK convoys in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/terrorism-a-fundamentalism\/who-was-the-vicious-criminal-qassem-soleimani\/\">Iraq.<\/a> By the end of 2002, over 12 roadside bombs, including IEDs and car bombs, were used against the MEK convoys, resulting in dozens of casualties.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">From 2009 to 2016, the regime\u2019s proxy terrorist groups in Iraq killed 141 MEK members by launching lethal attacks against the MEK\u2019s camps Ashraf and Liberty. On September 1, 2013, the Iraqi Interior Ministry\u2019s Special Forces, commanded by the Quds Force, launched a pre-dawn raid on Camp Ashraf, killing, execution-style, 52 MEK members. Many had their hands tied behind their backs and were shot in the head.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Iranian regime\u2019s \u201cbeloved commander\u201d was a cruel psychopath who carried out the regime\u2019s deadly strategy with maximum brutality and bloodshed. He was dubbed as a \u201cchild killer\u201d among Syrians.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Nevertheless, his death served as a severe blow to the regime\u2019s terrorist apparatus. Mrs. <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\" rel=\"noopener\">Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), described the elimination of Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mehdi al-Muhandes as an \u201cirreparable blow to the clerical regime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">At the time, Mrs. Rajavi emphasized that \u201cThe time had come to evict the mullahs from the region, especially from Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon, and expel the IRGC from these countries. In this way, Iraq, which had been delivered by the United States to the clerical regime on a silver platter, will be liberated from the yoke of the religious fascism ruling Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Although weakened, the Iranian regime has not stopped its terrorist activities since Soleimani\u2019s death because the export of terrorism is one of its pillars of survival, domestic suppression being the other. The resort to such conduct, however, must be viewed as a sign of weakness and not strength. In response, the international community must adopt a firm policy to counter the Iranian regime\u2019s terrorism and regional adventurism. Appeasement will only embolden the regime to pursue the same nefarious policies in the region and beyond.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 3 marks the second anniversary of
