They were arrested by the mullahs\u2019 Intelligence Ministry in Urmia on February 23, 2019, and sentenced to 19 years in prison each, on the charges of &#8220;supporting the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/about-the-peoples-mojahedin-organization-of-iran-pmoi-mek\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK\/PMOI)&#8221;<\/a> and &#8220;propaganda against the state.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dariush Bakhshi, the head of the Political Prisoners&#8217; Ward in Urmia Prison, said the two were transferred because they provoked two prisoners as provoking prisoners to protest and strike.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As soon as Ebrahim arrived in Marivan prison, he began a hunger strike and announced that he would continue until he joined with his son.
