\"NCRIOn the eve of the anniversary of freedom from prison on January 20, 1979, of the Iranian Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi<\/a>, the Resistance Units and Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK\/PMOI) supporters posted banners and wrote graffiti in various cities across Iran. By writing and posting the messages and calls by Mr. Rajavi to the younger generation and the defiant youths, they emphasized the inevitable overthrow of the religious dictatorship and its replacement with freedom and democracy in Iran.<\/p>\n

The activities of the Resistance Units<\/a> and supporters of the MEK have continued throughout the third week of January. Below is the report on some of these activities on January 16, in different Iranian cities, including Tehran, Tabriz, Rasht, Ahvaz, Isfahan, Semnan, Qom, Mashhad, Saravan, Gorgan, Urmia, Zanjan, Nur, Kahrizak, and Birjand. Among the slogans were: “Massoud Rajavi: Hail to the imprisoned Resistance Units,\u201d “Massoud Rajavi: The Resistance Units will bring victory,\u201d “Massoud Rajavi: The fate of Iran will be determined with the uprising of its vanguard sons and daughters and their sacrifice,\u201d “Massoud Rajavi: The army of the unemployed, destitute, and the looted will rise,” \u201cMassoud Rajavi: The secret to national salvation is to say down with the principle of Velayat-e Faqih, long live freedom. Our mission is to overthrow the religious dictatorship,\u201d “Death to the dictator, death to Khamenei and (Ebrahim) Raisi.\u201d<\/p>\n
