The Government Is at a Critical Crossroad, State-affiliated Analysts Warns<\/h3>\n

On January 23, Sadegh Zibakalam, a state-affiliated analyst told ILNA state news agency: “Today, the government has reached a dilemma, a very difficult dilemma as to which path to take. If you prevent those who are protesting for their livelihood, they will turn into political and social protests. Because by not changing the economic situation, protests will not disappear and its current economic nature will become a social and political one. Officials also know that tying the economic protests to foreign powers is no longer effective.”<\/p>\n

Former Official Slams Iranian Regime President’s Claims About Achievements During Trip to Moscow<\/h3>\n

Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, a former member of the regime’s parliament and a current analyst said: “Raisi’s visit to Moscow had no achievements whatsoever. The state did not reach any of the strategic accomplishments it was aiming for.”<\/p>\n

Denouncing Ebrahim Raisi’s empty promises, Falahatpisheh added: “Unfortunately, no talks were held concerning the commercial and economic affairs during the president’s visit to Moscow, and no agreements were signed. In ceremonies for such treaties, the presidents of the two countries pose in the background while their ministers sign agreements that are at the highest level in terms of number, subject, inclusion, and timing. No joint press conference was held either.”<\/p>\n
