On the eve of the anniversary of the 1979 anti-monarchy uprising, during which the clerical regime usurped the people’s revolution and turned it into another dictatorship, Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK\/PMOI) supporters and Resistance Units in Tehran and various cities including Mashhad, Ahvaz, Tabriz, Isfahan, Karaj, Mahshahr, and Saveh posted banners and wrote graffiti, calling on the youth to fight for freedom. These activities are aimed at shattering the atmosphere of repression.<\/p>\n

The banners read: \u201cMaryam Rajavi: We can and must liberate our occupied homeland through uprising and revolt,” “Shame on you Khamenei, let the country go,” “In the struggle of destiny, inscribed in our country\u2019s memory, give me death or give me liberty,” “Massoud Rajavi: rebellious youth will bring victory,” “Down with Khamenei, hail to Rajavi,\u201d \u201cDown with Khamenei and Raisi, hail to Rajavi, long live freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n
