On January 27, Iran\u2019s state TV was disrupted, airing footage of opposition leaders<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After decades of spreading misinformation, the mullahs\u2019 hate speeches, and propaganda, Iran\u2019s state-TV conveyed a message all Iranians yearn: \u201cDeath to (Ali) Khamenei,\u201d the regime\u2019s supreme leader. On February 10, citizens in Mashhad, northeast Iran, again heard the chants of \u201cDeath to Khamenei.\u201d<\/p>\n

On January 27, Iran\u2019s state TV was disrupted<\/a>, by Resistance Units and supporters of the Mujahedin-e Khalq<\/a> (PMOI\/MEK), airing footage of opposition leaders, Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the Iranian opposition coalition National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), in addition to slogans of \u201cDeath to Khamenei, Viva Rajavi.\u201d Besides, crossed-out images of Khamenei were also shown on numerous state TV networks<\/p>\n

Two weeks after, and despite utilizing all resources, the regime has not been able to repair the damage to its propaganda machine.<\/p>\n

According to the MEK, \u201cBased on Article 110 of the regime\u2019s constitution, Khamenei, the regime\u2019s supreme leader, oversees the state radio and television networks. After the interruption, he had ordered the channels and networks to be returned to normal before the \u201cFajr Decade\u201d ceremonies (the ten days marking the anniversary of the 1979 revolution). However, the relevant departments have not been able to broadcast programs planned for the Fajr decade yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

The mullahs received yet another blow on the eve of the anniversary of Iran\u2019s 1979 anti-monarchical revolution and amid the regime\u2019s preparation for holding its anniversary \u201ccarnival\u201d where it promises all sorts of free services to attract people and stage a \u201cpopular support.\u201d<\/p>\n
