RIYADH, March 20 (Reuters) – Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi group fired missiles and drones at Saudi energy and water desalination facilities, causing a temporary drop in output at a refinery but no casualties, the Saudi energy ministry, and state media said on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Drone strikes hit a petroleum products distribution terminal in the southern Jizan region, a natural gas plant, and the Yasref refinery in the Red Sea port of Yanbu, the ministry said in a statement.<\/p>\n

German Police Raided Hezbollah Centers in Western Part of the Country<\/h3>\n

The German newspaper Bild reported that the police in the city of Munster attacked centers that belonged to Lebanese Hezbollah operating under the pretext of religious scholarship. The attack took place on Saturday, March 19, at the mosque and the center called Imam Mehdi. The centers were closed for violating the German constitution. German police also raided the apartment of two leaders who were affiliated with Hezbollah.<\/p>\n

The Chair of the Culture and Art Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), an author, a literary master, and a great freedom fighter, Dr. Manouchehr Hezarkhani, left us and became eternal. He was the preeminent intellectual and thinker of contemporary Iranian history.<\/p>\n

Dr. Hezarkhani was a beloved friend to the Leader of the Iranian Resistance,\u00a0Massoud Rajavi<\/strong><\/a>, for 40 years since the start of the Iranian people\u2019s just Resistance on June 20, 1981, and after the NCRI\u2019s foundation on July 21, 1981. I extend my profound and heartfelt condolences to his children and friends, the community of Iranian intellectuals and writers, his colleagues in the\u00a0NCRI<\/strong><\/a>, and especially to Massoud Rajavi, the NCRI Chairman.<\/p>\n

This gathering and exhibition coincided with the 49th<\/sup>\u00a0annual session of the UN Human Rights Council discussing the human rights situation across the globe, including its yearly review of the human rights situation in Iran.<\/p>\n

The Real Story Behind the Release of British Detainees From Iran<\/h3>\n

Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, a project manager with the Thomson Reuters Foundation, was arrested at a Tehran airport in April 2016. Later, she was convicted by an Iranian court of plotting to overthrow the clerical establishment. Zaghari-Ratcliffe, who served most of her first sentence in Tehran\u2019s Evin prison, was released in March 2020 during the Coronavirus pandemic and was kept under house arrest at her parents\u2019 home in Tehran. In March 2021, she was released from house arrest but was summoned to court again on new charges. In April 2021, Zaghari-Ratcliffe was sentenced to a new term in jail on charges of propaganda against Iran\u2019s ruling system, charges she denies.<\/p>\n

More Death Sentences Carried Out in Iran<\/h3>\n

More death sentences have been carried out in Iran in recent days.\u00a0At dawn on Wednesday, March 16, 2001, the death sentence of a male prisoner named Yousef Hashemi was carried out in Qazvin Prison. Yousef Hashemi was the father of a child, and his job was to repair alternators and car batteries before his arrest. He was accused of murder. He was in prison for four years and had previously been taken to the gallows. He had received a respite from the parents of the victim but could not satisfy them during this time.<\/p>\n
