You Cannot Trust Tehran With a Deal, Says Senator Lieberman<\/h3>\n

In an interview with Fox News on March 23, Senator Joseph Lieberman said the IRGC is probably a terrorist organization with more blood on its hands than al-Qaeda or ISIS.<\/p>\n

Responding to Fox News host about Jake Sullivan’s concerns regarding a new nuclear deal with the Iranian regime, Senator Lieberman said: “If there is a nuclear deal with Iran that would block Iran’s path to acquiring a nuclear weapon in a verifiable way and it would restrain that program, we would do it. But that deal is terrible, and my impression of Jake Sullivan’s remarks is that the deal is not curbing Iran’s nuclear weapons program, and at best it pauses it for about two years, and then it will start again. After all, the government of Tehran is a terrorist, extremist, anti-American, and aggressive government. They cheat, they lie, and you cannot trust them.\u201d<\/p>\n
